Yeljith is a village in the Kundapur taluk of Udupi district. As of 2011, Yeljith has a total population of 2539 people consisting of 1363 male and 265 female residents. The village occupies a total area of 3408.72 hecatres with a population density of 0.745 people per hectare. As of 2011, the total literacy rate was 66.44% which was higher than the national average of 59.5%.[1]
