Jafarabad (Persian: جعفرآباد), also Romanized as Ja‘farābād; also known as Jafarkhan (جافرخان), also Romanized as Jāfarkhān,[3] is a village in Kuhdasht-e Shomali Rural District of the Central District of Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 346 in 65 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 478 people in 97 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 522 people in 112 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
