Akbarabad (Persian: اكبراباد), also Romanized as Akbarābād, is a village in Gol Gol Rural District of the Central District of Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 820 in 159 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 1,357 people in 329 households.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,641 people in 440 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
