Kuhgir Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوهگير) is in Tarom-e Sofla District of Qazvin County, Qazvin province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Kuhgir-e Sofla.[3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,873 in 734 households.[4] There were 1,861 inhabitants in 615 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,547 in 1,385 households. The most populous of its 33 villages was Kuhgir-e Sofla, with 895 people.[2]
