Hesar (Persian: حصار), also Romanized as Ḩeşār, Hisār, and Khisar,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Chuqur Rural District of Tarom-e Sofla District, Qazvin County, Qazvin province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 180 in 47 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 221 people in 82 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 440 people in 149 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
