Fairdale is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census Fairdale had a population of 35 people.[1]

History[edit]

Mondure Central State School opened on 26 September 1910 but on 13 October 1932 was renamed Fairdale State School. It closed in 1972.[3] It was located to the west of the junction of Fairdale Road (also known as Mondure Cushnie Road) and Springs Road (26°15′30″S 151°46′02″E / 26.2584°S 151.7673°E / -26.2584; 151.7673 (Fairdale State School (former))).[4]

In the 2016 census Fairdale had a population of 35 people.[1]
