Chelmsford is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census Chelmsford had a population of 124 people.[1]

History[edit]

Chelmsford State School opened on 23 August 1910. It closed circa 1972.[3] The school was located on the south-east corner of the intersection of Tingoora Chelmsford Road and Springs Road / Old Chemsford Road (26°16′07″S 151°48′39″E / 26.2686°S 151.8108°E / -26.2686; 151.8108 (Chelmsford State School (former))).[4]

In the 2016 census Chelmsford had a population of 124 people.[1]
