Regarding Jang Minho[edit]

Hello. Please add at least one external link or reference in the article Jang Minho. As the article currently stands, it will be WP:BLPPRODded unless one of these is added. Thanks, –eggofreason(talk · contribs) 16:21, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jang Minho moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Jang Minho, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. –eggofreason(talk · contribs) 16:46, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jang Minho, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hi, I would like to help you improve the article. I am removing "promotional" language that will get the article deleted if it stays in there. To establish notability, can you give a few links to articles Korean newspapers or magazines that talk about Jang Minho in recent years? HouseOfChange (talk) 15:38, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@HouseOfChange Hi, there are articles Korean newspapers talk about Jang Minho these days.

Thanks, I will try to help you improve the article. He seems interesting and notable, so it will be good if en-wiki gets an article about him. I added some asterisks to your list so it shows up better.HouseOfChange (talk) 16:11, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Update: Articles that are just a photo with some text about how cute or nice he is do not help to show notability. Please only list articles that contain in-depth information about Jan Minho -- more about his work with Compassion International or some notable contest he won, etc. HouseOfChange (talk) 16:29, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@HouseOfChange

Thanks, I added some more citation at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Jang_Minho

I'm searching for some article about his work with Compassion Korea.

This article I found as a reference in ko-wiki talks about it. HouseOfChange (talk) 16:37, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@HouseOfChange

Thanks! I added about Compassion Korea. Could you review it? I don't know whatelse to do next.
If there are news articles about other contests or prizes he won, you could add information about each of them, with its citation. Also, if there is anything he did that resulted in news articles in more than one newspaper or magazine, that would be notable. Good work fixing this so far! HouseOfChange (talk) 17:11, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@HouseOfChange

Thanks.Then Should I wait for finishing reviewing? They say it takes about 2 months.
Good news! See below. So what is your next Wikipedia project? HouseOfChange (talk) 02:37, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@HouseOfChange

Thanks a lot! without your help, it wouldn't happen. Thanks again! I learned a lot this time. Hope you have a good day!

File permission problem with File:Jangminho dramacover.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Jangminho dramacover.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:43, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
