Roles order[edit]

The roles don't seem to be listed in any order, that I noticed. Should it be sorted? Alphabetically or chronologically? Suggestions? Astrophil 05:23, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alphabetically is the common way to do it. --日本穣 Nihonjoe 06:29, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Needed changes[edit]

Here are things I think needs to be changed in the biography:

-To say that Toya is one of his two most notable roles is completely ridiculous. While it could be just the writer's opinion, the statement does not have any credibility at all, in fact it is quite misleading. For one, Toya in CCS wasn't even a leading character of the series, is this saying that out of all the other leading roles that Seki was in, not a single one is more worthy to be mentioned? For example, the role of Van from Escaflowne or Kamui from X would all be more appropriate choices. And in regards of supporting role, his appearance as Chichiri in Fushigi Yuugi is even a better mention than Toya since it was one of his earlier important roles that established his status as a popular seiyuu. (You could argue that CCS is a popular title in the U.S. but that's why we're also looking at seiyuu info and not dubs.)

-In addition, the notable trend in his casting should be that almost all the roles he played are young males instead of saying that they're often comical roles. While one can name a few comical roles from the list, this is true for every voice actor who has done a variety of works, and it's nothing special or particular to his case. Meanwhile the ratio of his comical roles vs. serious roles is also not particularly higher than other people, like the article seems to suggest. Yukieteno 02:22, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The problem I see with highlighting his role in CCS is it isn't written well. It's in an akward style that seems to say "Look, CCS! Focus on this!!". Regarding Yzak, I've shortened that down to generally mention the character and Seki's other most famous Gundam role, Domon Kasshu. Considering Domon was the central character of his respective series and how high profile Gundam projects are, I think it deserves mention as much, if not more, then his occassional appearances as Yzak--HellCat86 12:40, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Konjiki no Gash Bell!! / Zatch Bell![edit]

If the name "Konjiki no Gash Bell" is used in this article (I don't know if it is preferred over Zatch Bell by English-speaking fans), shouldn't it be on the spot for K in the alphabetically arranged role list, not on Z? Nanettea 13:10, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gah! I was looking at the link, not the title being used, when I sorted them. I knew I couldn't get out of that overhaul without any mistakes. ^^; Fixed now. Nique talk 15:17, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rivalries?[edit]

I don't think there is any source for this, is there? Ryou-kun16 (talk) 22:55, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's true. "As indicated in some episodes" cleary do not establish the fact if he did or not. 168.212.159.11 (talk) 18:46, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Even if it was true, I don't think it's so important it has to be part of the opening paragraph. The Wiki-site about Lucky Star doesn't mention the rivalry so yeah... Someone either verify this or remove it please. 87.78.191.69 (talk) 10:41, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Played Sonic in Wreck-it Ralph?[edit]

Is there a source for this? Searches on the internet have proved inconclusive with either being credited, and as a Sonic fan, it really sounds like Junichi's familiar Sonic voice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.193.162.120 (talk) 14:51, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources for birthday[edit]

The website for the HeroQ theater company lists the birthdate of Tomokazu Seki as September 8, 1972 (in Japanese but birthdate in numbers). There are other sources that list the same date but the theater company is probably the most reliable. I'm adding this here on the talk page because the article is targeted by a prolific birthdate vandal, and it is tedious to keep checking the birthdate from various sources every time the vandal targets these often poorly sourced BLPs. -kyykaarme (talk) 07:00, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
