Redundant class parameter[edit]

Is your bot still patrolling Category:WikiProject banners with redundant class parameter? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 14:51, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the robot cleans it regularly. The rest of them can't be cleaned for special reasons. Kanashimi (talk) 23:18, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What are the special reasons why these can't be cleaned up? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:04, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For example, contains comments, belongs to Category:WikiProjects using a non-standard quality scale. Kanashimi (talk) 09:18, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If the project is using a non-standard scale, then the class parameter is not redundant, so it should not be populating that category ... — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:56, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Mostly because of the comments. Kanashimi (talk) 11:08, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So we will have to clear this out manually then? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:58, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I do this in case some of the comments contain important information. Or could these comments be ignored? Kanashimi (talk) 23:12, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Mostly it is <!-- B-Class checklist --> which relates to the next parameter. Can the class parameter be removed while leaving the comment in place? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 16:38, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can you be a demo editor? Kanashimi (talk) 21:52, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You want an example? [1] — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:38, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That's good because I can't watch your bot all day and was just about to block it :)) — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:20, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
