No draft[edit]

This article needs to be submitted EverestMachine 4001 (talk) 04:13, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not keep submitting this draft without fixing the underlying problems![edit]

This draft has been submitted and rejected a number of times. As the draft grows it has become even harder to review and is therefore more likely to be rejected. The only threshold a draft needs to meet is our notability standards. You need to show that the subject has received significant coverage in reliable secondary sources. Adding additional sources that do not meet this standard does not help review, it does the opposite. It forces a reviewer to read through a large number of low quality sources. We are all volunteers and we might not have time to read every word of every source.

My suggestion is that this article needs to be paired down to "stub" size. It should be half the current length (or less), and should only include the highest quality sources. Make it easy for other editors to review. The sources should all be high quality and substantially about this subject.

Please don't demand that the reviewers account for their decisions. Some will, most will not. They aren't obliged to explain their decisions to you. If you think somebody has made a mistake please jump onto IRC Help. If you are patient then somebody might answer your questions. --Salimfadhley (talk) 00:15, 6 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

When I first worked on this draft upon being alerted to it by a revision by @Magitroopa:, I had did my part in adding the cast list and making corrections in the plot. In order to go with your plan, lets here what Magitroopa proposes to make the draft worthy of acceptance. As for the current redirect, one of the administrators you know must perform a history merge with it when that day comes. --Rtkat3 (talk) 16:52, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Me and Salimfadhly are an Article of Creation (AfC) reviewer. Basically we can accept the draft to the mainspace (though we can't as its currently a redirect). The draft keeps getting declined because it still has issues that Salimfadhly listed above. It its completely fixed, we'll accept it and ask an admin to delete the redirect. kpgamingz (rant me) 17:26, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please keep me out of this weird submission and then unsubmission of draf review[edit]

Hey @Magitroopa and Maxbmogs: please keep me out of this weird submission and then unsubmission of draf review thing that is going on right now in this draft [1]. I just got a message that my draft submission was rejected [2] but that cannot be the case! Because I did indded submit this draft for review twice on Aug 28 and Sep 3, but in both of those instances my submission got rejected [3] [4]. However, that was about 3 weeks ago, this latest "notice" of my draft submission rejection makes no sense - I DID NOT submit this draft for a review for the third time.

In conclusion, please keep me out of whatever battle is happening in this article with submission/unsubmisison. But for the record this film article is better than 90% of film articles on Wikipeida, so whoever keeps rejecting it must know something in the Wikipedia rules that all of us don't.--73.8.106.93 (talk) 00:15, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This really should be article-worthy[edit]

I think it's time this should stop being a draft and be a legit article here -Maxbmogs (talk) 17:06, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Maxbmogs Then do some work to move it to the main space: Magitroopa and other experienced editors obviously think that this draft still has series isssues (I disagree, but whatever). But the way to move this draft into the main space is not by getting involved in submisison/unsubmisison war with Magitroopa (which you somehow even dragged me into, see my comment above), but instead make some updates to the article: add good reliable sources from the film industry publications (think The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, Varity, ScreenDaily etc.) that talk about this film. If this article looks legit, like say an article about Dune - none of these naysayers will be able to revert your submission (I mean they still could, but at some point it would probably look ridiculous if this article looks like a bad-ass Dune article or something and they still keep reverting its submission). So in conclusion: do the work before resubmitting this draft.--73.8.106.93 (talk) 01:57, 27 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
