@Lk95, Doggy54321, and MaranoFan: Yet again, there are two articles about the same thing. This one and Draft:Olivia Rodrigo (album). I proposing the draft one be marked for WP:AFD while at the same time, merging the two together so there are no identical articles about the same thing. That would be very confusing. But, I would be up for merging this one to the draft one since the album isn't going to be released until May 21, 2021, and it would be better if we worked on it until it is released. But, I'm not a pro at deciding if it should be moved to the draft form, so I open the floor to anyone who's willing to speak his/her opinion on the matter. Thank you! Jack Reynolds (talk to me!) (email me!!) 18:20, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

Draftspace developments are redirected to mainspace after an article for the subject is created there. They aren't "two [different] articles". Everything is fine where it is, in my opinion. Histmerges are done to fix copy-paste moves, which I can assure did not happen as I did not know about the draft while writing this. There's almost nothing in common between the two. There's no need to incubate this either. Articles do not need to be GA quality to barely exist in mainspace.--NØ 18:28, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
@JackReynoldsADogOwner: I have no opinion on which namespace this is in, and I think the history merge needs to be discussed by Lk95 and MaranoFan, as they were the two editors who were involved with the draft. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 18:23, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
I requested a histmerge for the articles to be merged but I leave it up to an admin to decide if they should be merged or the draft be redirected. Lk95 (talk) 18:37, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
I have requested histmerges in the past and can think of two occasions where they were denied because there was no copy paste move. Histmerges are used to fix copy and paste moves, and there's no copy and paste move in this instance. I think it's likely the histmerge request will be denied. CountyCountry (talk) 18:48, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

should be merged or the draft be redirected. Lk95 (talk) 18:37, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

I agree with CountyCountry, and will repeat, histmerges are done to fix copy and paste moves. It makes no sense here as I wrote all of the content myself. If done, it will wrongly attribute Lk95 for content I wrote days ago, which I am strictly against. Thanks.—NØ 18:50, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
*O*R is only a placeholder title – we should keep expanding the article in the mainspace and then move it to Olivia Rodrigo (album) when that is officially announced as the title. - Peterpie123rww (talk) 19:39, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

Would appreciate if a page mover can help to move this article to Sour (album), and then move Sour (album) to Sour (Ours album) per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and WP:MOSCAPS. Nahnah4 (talk | contribs) 17:31, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

I already requested two redirects to be deleted under G6 so that this page can be moved to Sour (Olivia Rodrigo album) and the other one can be moved to Sour (Ours album), freeing up Sour (album) and SOUR, which will then both be redirected to Sour (disambiguation). Done, done, and done. Links pointed to Sour (album) should now be pointing to the Ours album. —C.Fred (talk) 19:01, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

Stylization

Should the stylization be mentioned in the opening sentence? It isn't being used in secondary sources so far but precedent seems to be in favor of including it (Folklore, Thank U, Next, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?).--NØ 18:59, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

WP:ALBUMSTYLE#Lead says that such info is trivial and only needs to be mentioned later in the article (if deemed relevant and with reliable sources) or just don't mention it at all. It's so unimportant unless there's an actual reason for it beyond stylization. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 20:54, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
I definitely think we should keep stylizations as they are valid pieces of information to add to articles. ALBUMSTYLE#Lead says trivial information (e.g. the album title is styled in all capitals on the cover) or very fine-grained facts (e.g. a detailed listing of every chart position) belong later in the article or not at all. I believe that would apply in pages such as Red (Taylor Swift album), where the album title is stylized normally but is in all caps on the cover, but not pages such as WWAFAWDWG? or Thank U, Next, where multiple sources recognize and use the stylization. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 21:50, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
If its clear that the title is actually in caps versus the choice of font, yes! But I would argue it is not encyclopedic. Why does the choice to STyLisE tHiNgS iN An ImMatURE way matter beyond WP:FANCRUFT? ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 22:01, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
I have added it to the start, with the Apple Music reference. - Peterpie123rww (talk) 10:53, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Sour is stylized by Apple Music and Olivia herself as SOUR so why isn’t it mentioned in the first sentence like other albums. Kevinlovestaylor (talk) 01:43, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
