Featured Article Status

I don't think this meets featured article status anymore. Some of the concerns I have are:

  • Some (but not too much) overlinking, for example, there are two instances of The Attitude Era being linked in the same section (four times total including the navbox). Shawn Micheals is linked five times (including two in image boxes), two of the links are in the same paragraph.
  • Calling Hart and Michaels by their entire name too many times, this could just be my preference, but typically we call them by their last name, their full names are used 22 and 32 times (exclusive of reverences).
  • The statement which the Federation would later call "the Attitude Era." in the last paragraph of Hart's departure from the WWF is repititous of the previous paragraph At this time, McMahon reviewed the WWF's plans for the future, and saw the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and D-Generation X leading what was to become "The Attitude Era". I would omit the "later call" portion of the former, but that is just my opinion.
  • The Descrepency section was added with this edit by an IP three years after it passed FAC, so was never reviewed for the FAC criteria. One of the references is a dead link and is actually hosted at 100megsfree4.com, hardly what I would refer to as a reliable sources' location (apart from being a dead link).
  • Reference 68 is not formatted.
  • Reference 63 doesn't have enough detail.
  • Third external link does not have a description.
  • The last two paragraphs, plus half of the second (approximately 2/3) of Bret Hart's WWE return is unsourced.
  • The last four paragraphs in the Legacy section are unsourced.

Agreed. If the article can't be substantially improved, it should probably be listed at WP:FAR. --Jtalledo (talk) 14:18, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
I've attempted to address to second point and found some other similar issues, although in some cases Bret's full name needed to stay in order to avoid confusion with mentions of his brother Owen. I'll look at the others later, including the option of deleting the "Discrepancies" section completely as OR. 137.147.155.242 (talk) 01:38, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
