Title Gimmick[edit]

Each is named like a previous Sentai show named it's episodes right?

Should we add which sentai the titles reference?

It does not seem to be the case yet.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:22, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mythology Gags[edit]

Should we mention the mythology gags as they appear?

Snack Safari is from Sun Vulcan

I am not sure about this right now. We could probably use more discussion on it. But remember, this is not TV Tropes.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 18:35, 14 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's very much possible. After all, compared to the Kamen Riders, the Super Sentai has a long flowing universe so stuff, and figures, are bound to appear in the long run.72.184.129.252 (talk) 04:29, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No. We're not adding useless trivia. Go to TV Tropes for that.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 04:42, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing like that. I meant link the place in question to the series it appeared in, after certain things are dealt with on that series page.72.184.129.252 (talk) 06:02, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 06:09, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Other random mythology gags we probably won't cover on the article:

  1. In episode 5, when four of the Gokaigers change into the Go-ongers, Gokai Yellow as Go-on Yellow uses her tire cuffs while fighting a Gormin Sailor. This has been reported by many fans as a Power Rangers RPM reference, as the tire cuffs were never used as weapons in Engine Sentai Go-onger.
  2. In episode 6, Nanonanoda makes references to some Super Sentai songs. While Gokai Yellow as Vul Panther attacks him, he says, "One plus two plus..." with Gokai Yellow replying, "Sun Vulcan!" This is in reference to the second ending theme of Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan. When the other four Gokaigers change into J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai, Nanonaoda says, "Spade, diamond, heart, club... hey hey hey!" (derived from the first two lines of the J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai opening theme) before being swept away by the J.A.K.Q. Hurricane.
  3. In episode 8, after the Gokaigers attack the Sneak Brothers using the Goggle-V powers, Captain Marvelous says, "Stop the Battle." This is in reference to Dai Sentai Goggle-V ending theme.
  4. Episode 14 makes numerous references to Gekisou Sentai Carranger. The scene where Kyousuke steps on Jealousit while being chased by Insarn is a throwback to a scene in Gekisou Sentai Carranger vs. Ohranger, where Shouhei Yokkaichi and Yuuji Mita trample on Kyousuke while chasing Bara Mobile. When the Gokaigers change into the Carrangers, they turn their Ranger Keys in a "revving" motion as an homage to the Carrangers' Accel Changers.

More to come throughout this series. - Areaseven (talk) 01:03, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Romanization issues[edit]

I was wondering about translations of some given names in the series and determining whether or not the words posted on the article are correct. Here are some examples:

  • Gigaroriumu (ギガロリウム) (episode 10) - Currently listed as "Gigarollium", but some "subtitle translators" have listed the word as "Gigalorium", which somewhat sounds easier to pronounce.
  • Puwazōru (プワゾール) (episode 13) - Currently listed as "Puwazole", but it might be translated as "Poisole", derived from the French pronunciation of "poison" (especially since the material is described as emitting a neurotoxin).

What do you guys think? - Areaseven (talk) 01:13, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just do it :P—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 01:22, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
