Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted because the stand up career of Mr. Dye is starting to expand. He recently (May 7th) had a Comedy Central Special that aired, and he is currently the host of a new MTV television show. His impact on stand up comedy has yet to be seen, and, for the time being, he is deserving of a Wikipedia page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nwecjohnson (talkcontribs) 02:24, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Late to the conversation, I know, but agree with Nwecjohnson. I don't think that this page is ready for deletion. However, this WP:BLP could be expanded. And in my opinion, I think it should look more like other BLPs. No info is yet included as to his early life, info on professional influences, (maybe some details on his personal life). IOW, it should look more like other BLPs. SeaBeeDee 02:20, 31 August 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by SeaBeeDee (talkcontribs)

IOW, should read "IMO" = in my opinion. Sorry for any confusion. SeaBeeDee 02:21, 31 August 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by SeaBeeDee (talkcontribs)

OPPOSE Speedy Delete. This is an active actor/comedian with multiple television roles. He meets WP:PERSON because "Has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions" per the article. jthillik (talk) 21:05, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
