Birth Place?

Okay, Obviously at the top of the page, it says that Gerard Way was born in Newark, New Jersey.

But at his bio part, it says that he was in fact, born in Summit, New Jersey.

Does anybody else find this confusing?

I'm pretty sure Mikey was born in Summit, NJ.

Sorry if this confuses anybody else. I just thought i'd like to point that out.

I think that there should be a more recent image of Gerard Way as he now has red hair.

I have clear pictures from the recent (last week) World Contamination tour (the Manchester date) that I'd be willing to lend to the article. I took the pictures myself so they are copyright free. Did he really? Where? What'd he say? And I totally agree, but you can't upload any random pictures up here. Your best bet is to search sites likes flickr or deviantart for photos that were uploaded by the same person who took the photo (and owns the rights for the photo), they're usually concert photos or from meet-and-greets or such, and ask them if they can give the picture a Creative Commons license so it'd be legal to upload here. --194.150.65.7 (talk) 16:43, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

Relationship with Eliza Cuts

People need to stop adding Eliza Cuts into the Personal Life section. Despite popular belief that she and Gerard were in a relationship, there is no real evidence of this from either side that this is true. We know that Gerard was engaged but this was broken off before Projekt Revolution 2007 and before he began his relationship with LynZ of Mindless Self Indulgence (this Gerard explained in Projekt Rev interview at the time).

Existing interviews with Eliza Cuts have only ever been written interviews online which is extremely unreliable and various typings on websites and blogs which cannot be confirmed if they are even really her. Neither Gerard nor Eliza have ever physically mentioned eachother's name in visual interviews. In fact the only MCR band member to have mentioned Eliza was Mikey Way and he stated that she was simply a friend.

So until either side gives any kind of indication that they were once in a relationship, any mention of Eliza Cuts won't be put on Gerard's Wikipedia. It's not really an important piece of information anyway... Copaface182 (talk) 14:47, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

He's credited as a guest vocalist. He probably contributed to the backing vocals rather than having his own verse or something. And he wasn't in the video for the song eventhough there are pictures of him being present when the video was actually filmed. The only video he's actually been in when serving as backing or guest vocalist for a song was on Kyosuke Himuro's Safe & Sound video. Also it is listed that he is also known as "emo", which I would like to see change also because it too is offensive, and he has never listed that as a name he goes by. Hiya, considering the photo is all the way from 2012, and Gerard has changed his appearance multiple times since then (especially his hair), I think that it's time for a new photo. The section on his writing under "Other ventures" should include DC's Young Animal, the television section should include the Netflix Umbrella Academy series, and I feel that since he's pursuing writing as a career now instead of music the page should better reflect that. One thing that frustrates me about this article is that when someone expresses <assigned gender pronouns>/<other> pronoun preferences, that a lot of people fail to ever use the <other> option, as this article does in its current state.
