Smuggling of diamonds for the Soviet Union[edit]

I have found the following info on Meynell on the bbc news website [1]:

...it has been revealed that Sir Francis Meynell, an early editor of the Communist newspaper and of the Catholic weekly The Tablet, smuggled Soviet diamonds into England in a box of chocolates.

The report, dated 29 December 1920, says "he (Meynell) purchased a box of chocolates, extracted the cream contents, and filled them in with diamonds".

The smuggled jewels are believed to have been used to help fund the Communist Party of Great Britain.

This should be added to the article but I wouldn't know where to start. KMcD (talk) 07:32, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Utility Design[edit]

The bold text Utility Design should instead link to the corresponding design movement. I don't think Wikipedia has an article on that movement: we do have Utility furniture, Utility clothing, and CC41. Did Meynell work on furniture or clothing (in which case the link should be to one of those two articles) or did he do something else - right now this article say simply that he "worked on utility design", which is rather vague. -- Finlay McWalterჷTalk 10:13, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
