I have added references to the 1918 novel "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" by Vicente Blasco Ibáñez and The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (film) 1962.

Quake 4[edit]

Tarot[edit]

In most decks, the knight cards (a part of the court cards, usually considered minor arcane) is riding a horse. as there are four of them (i.e. Knight of Coins, Knight of Cups, Knight of Swords and Knight of Wands) the connection to the Four Horsemen seems obvious. In the Rider-Waite tarot deck the knight horses are colored accordingly (although the "pale" horse appears white, and not as green as the Greek word suggests). --Sceasary (talk) 17:51, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
