Pretty sure Askren was born in Iowa, moved up to Wisconsin as a kid.

Accusations of being boring[edit]

Just about every time Askren gets mentioned in MMA circles, someone mentions how boring people find his fights and how he hardly ever finishes. It might be worthwhile to mention that, since it's such a major aspect of his career. Here's a few links to instances I found in print. Live commentary shows would also work as references.

Not done: this is not the right page to request additional user rights. You may reopen this request with the specific changes to be made and someone will add them for you, or if you have an account, you can wait until you are autoconfirmed and edit the page yourself. If you could point out where specifically in the article this misinformation is present I'd be happy to fix this for you (presuming you a) provide a reliable source or b) the source tied to the claim is correct and what is written is incorrect). A cursory glance of the page from myself does not easily find what you may be referring to. I'll keep an eye on this talk page for a day or two.
