Issue with Article Contents and Associated Reference[edit]

Hello - I would like to remove a reference to a CBS News article and the text which relies on that article. The article in question, “Historian in theft plot seeks to sell off assets” (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/historian-in-theft-plot-seeks-to-sell-off-assets/), states that “Prosecutors said in early August that National Archives workers had already determined that 200 belong to institutions, including Swarthmore College, the Smithsonian Institution, Yale University, Columbia University, the New York Public Library, Vassar College, Cambridge University, the University of Vermont and the Library of Congress.” Based on that information, the Wikipedia article states: “Multiple searches of Landau's West 57th Street apartment by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) turned up thousands more documents, 200 of which have been traced back to such institutions as Yale University, the University of Cambridge, the New York Public Library, and the Library of Congress. Other institutions robbed were the Historical Society of Pennsylvania, the University of Vermont, the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library, Swarthmore College, the Smithsonian Institution, Columbia University, Vassar College, and the Connecticut Historical Society.” However, the following sources all list a set of institutions that differ from the list in the CBS News report:

One other reference on the Wikipedia article that lists institutions does not support the CBS News report either and another reference that supposedly listed institutions is no longer available.

I work in the Office of Communications at the Library of Congress. Before I attempt to make any edits I wanted to provide an opportunity for any objections to be raised given that I work at the Library of Congress. I first became aware of inaccuracies in the CBS News article, and the differences with other accounts of the thefts, because the Library of Congress has established that Mr. Landau did not steal items from its collections. Thank you for any advice!
