Najneh-ye Olya (Persian: نجنه عليا), also Romanized as Najneh-ye ‘Olyā; also known as Najīneh-ye Bālā,[3] is a village in Nameh Shir Rural District of Namshir District, Baneh County, Kurdistan province, Iran. The village is populated by Kurds.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 825 in 143 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 750 people in 186 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 688 people in 184 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
