Hello Harry,

I noticed that you have identified my submission for Circuit Logix as being non-compliant. I apologize if the article has appeared to be promoting a commercial product, because that was certainly not my intention and Circuit Logix is not a commercial product. It is a free learning resource intended for electronics students. The information regarding Circuit Logix is entirely for the purpose of enlightening readers about a revolutionary approach to electronics circuit simulation that has enabled electronics students around the world to access a free laboratory simulator. This process has proven to be highly beneficial to students and is a major benefit to learning a complex subject.

Best regards,

Carl142 16:46, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Hey Carl, I re-read the Circuit Logix page and agree that it isn't spam. I apologize as marking it as such. I figured that from the listing of the founders credentials it could be spam, so I erred on the side of caution and marked it that way. I would remove the tag from the article, the problem is that you created three different ones, and I need to know which one should stay, and the other two can be made into redirects. Please respond to this ASAP Black Harry 20:07, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
One of the pages got deleted before I could remove the deletion tag, so I created it as a redirect to CircuitLogix I also removed the tag from the page that wasn't deleted and made that a redirect as well. on the talk page for CircuitLogix i explained why I dont't think its spam.
It would be good if you could expand on the article more, and also sie sources for it. And also try to link some articles to it. Black Harry 20:23, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks very much for your comments regarding the CircuitLogix article. The reason that I submitted more than one posting was that I noticed that the titles are case sensitive so if someone searched for circuitlogix instead of CircuitLogix they wouldn't find the article. It would be great if there was a way to forward searches under Circuit Logix, circuitlogix, and circuit logix all to CircuitLogix, since that is the actual name.
I appreciate your advice regarding adding more content and I would like to expand on awards, referencess, etc. I'm not quite sure how to link a word or name to another article. Is there somewhere on the wikipedia site that provides this info?
Thanks again for your feedback and approval of the article.
Carl
If you want to link a page to another for cases of spelling, etc. look up the article on how to make redirects. Also, on the edit bar on top of the edit section, there is a button that looks like #R use that button to make a redirect. Black Harry 23:45, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Hey I just started an article. You nominated it for speedy deletion. It's existed for all of 20 minutes. Still neutralizing and flushing it out. I posted a contest thingy but wouldn't mind you reviewing and reconsidering your post. It's a fairly notable local company that has a national reach in Louisville, Ky. NOt spamming just trying to create an article.M-BMor 08:23, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Hey I tagged it originally because of the company's mission statement was on the page. Generally when a new article has this it is blatant spam so i tagged. I do agree that after you editted it it is no longer spam. Would've removed the tag if I had gotten to it but someone else already did. Any question, write on my talk page Black Harry 09:16, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
Yeah in retrospect --- should have started it differently. Thanks though. :-) M-BMor 09:26, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes, however, the disambiguation on Grand Rapids was not appearing, but rather redirecting you to Grand Rapids, Michigan. I didn't know one existed, and created one. I then noticed there were two, so I pasted it into mine, because it included listings mine didn't. I am a new user, and thus don't know how to delete pages. Curran (talk) 21:55, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Hello. I have recently redirected Grand Rapids to the Grand Rapids (disambiguation) page because there are multiple cites and towns with the name Grand Rapids, and under WP:D, this would qualify for the use of a disambiguation. I respect your opinion and would like to hear why it was changed before I revert it to the disambiguation because I assume there was a good reason. I apologize for any confusion. Curran (talk) 00:11, 23 April 2007 (UTC) PS, I placed the {{helpme}} because I would like to hear others opinions.

Grand Rapids, Michigan, is the most popular site with the name? Real96 00:15, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
However, having a disambiguation page is pointless if nothing connects to it. (EXAMPLE---->unverified) Just because F-16 means several things, and the F-16 Fighting Falcon is the most popular, doesn't mean a disambiguation page is unjustified, because there are other articles that are noteworthy. If I lived in one of the Grand Rapidses, I would want a disambiguation page so users are taken to the correct page. Why is a disambiguation page so controversial-- all it does is take you to the proper page, and besides, one extra click for the Michigan Wikipedians won't hurt them :) WHAT DO YOU THINK?? Curran (talk) 00:30, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
See WP:DISAMBIG. It's not about what I think, but what is in policy. Real96 00:33, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
I would have to argue that WP:D supports my reasoning for a disambiguation... What part of the article are you referencing?? Curran (talk) 00:39, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Redirecting to the most well known city is fairly common. Detroit redirects to Detroit, Michigan, even though Detroit (disambiguation) exists. Denver redirects to Denver, Colorado even though there is a Denver (disambiguation). As long as there is a For other uses see... link on top, redirect it to the most common one. Also, WP:R is more applicable here. Mr.Z-mantalk¢ 00:42, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Okay, well thanks, Mr. Z-man-- I'm new to Wikipedia, and am just trying to help make a positive difference... so I appreciate your clarification because I need to know these things... Cheers, Curran (talk) 00:49, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Not Sure why this is on my talk page, but I switched it back to Michigan because when you check the 'what links here' for Grand Rapids, most of those links are to Grand Rapids, Michigan. So linking Grand Rapids to the disambig page would break alot of those links Black Harry 00:46, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

It's hard to get info on them. Thanks for the help though. JabbaXErnie 23:53, 25 April 2007 (UTC).

I am not the greatest page creator and i apologize for it. I accidentally created Levon Takavor and believe that should be deleted. But My newest Creation Century High School of Santa Monica is a great article and people should know about the school. I am not a staff member im just a student a its not like any of my other schools. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me. April 25 2007Gevo2267

Thanks again for understanding. Do you know any way to get your page from being deleted if you don't have a website? Gevo2267

i found a site with a bunch of noted school and my schools in it. its on my original page. Do you think thats good enough Gevo2267

You have marked several pages for deletion, although several other pages have placeholder pages for content that should be added. If I did this incorrectly, please let me know how I should do it. Todd Musheno (talkcontribs) 17:24, 30 April 2007 (UTC).

The pages would have been fine, but when you create page you need to add actual content to the page, and not just say text needs to be added. Thanks for your interest in editing Black Harry 18:01, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
