Landlocked?[edit]

Are you sure KK is Landlocked. I always thought it had a quick look at the sea between Wexford and Waterford. Somewhere around the Bell Docks U thoughtWgh001 (talk) 02:42, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removed redirect of Portal:Christianity/Projects/Header[edit]

I have removed the redirect mentioned above because the templates specified for the tabs on the page in your user space are not valid. If there is some reason why this was redirected to pages in your userspace, please make sure that they work properly before supplanting with your own.--Jeffro77 (talk) 08:49, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, that page either has a {{db}} template of some kind on it, or that template is inside another template. The problem might fix itself, but if you can figure out where the offending template is, please remove it so that this page is no longer in the speedy deletion queue. Thanks. - Dank (push to talk) 19:06, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The reason that you had a warning come up on this image is because you said it was a picture of a building when you uploaded it, but it wasn't. Please take care to choose a more accurate selection next time. For help uploading images, visit WP:MCQ. Stifle (talk) 11:57, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Niall Harnett requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. July 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Niall Harnett, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Netalarm 20:10, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

CSD Removed[edit]

As you've added a reference to the article Niall Harnett redirects to, I've removed the CSD tag on that page. Netalarm 14:27, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, did you were not aware that categorys should not be emptied pending discussion ? Please take a look at the above mentioned category and read the text in template. Best wishes ~~ Phoe talk ~~ 00:54, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'll assume that you acted in good faith by doing the changes while the discussion was underway, tho I'm not sure how you could have missed the "Please do not empty the category" notice when you edited category.
However, the reason I am posting here is that even if the CFD discussion had not been underway, it's never appropriate to just empty a category like you did. If you think a category needs to be renamed or merged or deleted, it should be nominated for a discussion at WP:CFD, so that a consensus can be formed before any changes are made. This is because it can be very hard to undo the changes after a category is depopulated.
Anyway, hope you enjoy expanding coverage of Kilkenny. There's a lot more to be written about it, and it's good to see someone on the case. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 03:22, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion on Kilkenny categories[edit]

I have proposed the deletion or merger of a series of categories which you created: see the discussion at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2010 February 26#Kilkenny, where your contribution would be welcome. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 03:02, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Altered speedy deletion rationale: User talk:Mrchris/Aughamucky[edit]

Hello Mrchris, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I deleted User talk:Mrchris/Aughamucky, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided. The speedy deletion criteria are extremely narrow and specific, and the process is more effective if the correct criterion is used. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 22:36, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
