Thank you for catching our mistake at the KKK article. I can't believe we didn't change that before.Drew Smith What I've done 12:49, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

David Carradine[edit]

Hi there. I reverted your death date change on Mr Carradine's article and I just wanted to explain to you why. The general consensus amongst sources is that Mr Carradine was found at 10am on the 4th and that he had been dead for no less than 12 hours, which would put his time of death at on or before 10pm on the 3rd. It may well be that information comes out in the next few days or so that suggests he died after midnight, at which point, with a reliable source, the article can be changed. For now though, the only reliable information available suggests that he died on the 3rd. Best wishes. Sky83 (talk) 18:24, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply. I wanted to explain because I didn't want you to take offense to my reverting your edit! Yes, it's summer where I am (London) and it's beautiful out! Enjoy your summer too! Sky83 (talk) 18:56, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Charles Starkweather photo[edit]

Hi. I don't know where you found the photo you uploaded, all the file page says is that it from an unconfirmed website. Without the source of the image, any type of licensing can't be figured out for it. Perhaps you could let me know where you got it and I'll try to see if it is permissible. Thanks. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Earl Bramblett, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.clarkprosecutor.org/html/death/US/bramblett845.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. The article Luigi Storti has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable criminal. Although he was the first person to be executed by a particular method in one particular state, he does not meet WP:BIO.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 16:49, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 18:50, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
