David Lowe Article Reference for Honorary Doctorate

Hello, Yesterday I edited an article on David Lowe to include a reference to Staffordshire University's list of honorary doctorates - David Lowe is under the 2005 entries. This has now been removed an replaced with "citation needed" again. I am struggling to understand how we can get a better citation than the University's list of honorary doctorates. @Estmarc: that's not what occurred according to the article's edit history. You simply removed maintenance templates that were still relevant without previously improving the article. Can you please tell me why the first page has been deleted? They are 2 separate things. The first refers to the music album by William Control, and the second refers to the book he also wrote. New Page Review needs your help

Hi FoCuSandLeArN,

As an AfC reviewer you're probably aware that a new user right has been created for patrolling new pages (you might even have been granted the right already, and admins have it automatically).

Since July there has been a very serious backlog at Special:NewPagesFeed of over 14,000 pages, by far the worst since 2011, and we need an all out drive to get this back down to just a few hundred that can be easily maintained in the future. Unlike AfC, these pages are already in mainspace, and the thought of what might be there is quite scary. There are also many good faith article creators who need a simple, gentle push to the Tea House or their pages converted to Draft rather than being deleted.

Although New Page Reviewing can occasionally be somewhat more challenging than AfC, the criteria for obtaining the right are roughly the same. The Page Curation tool is even easier to use than the Helper Script, so it's likely that most AfC reviewers already have more than enough knowledge for the task of New Page Review.

It is hoped that AfC reviewers will apply for this right at WP:PERM and lend a hand. You'll need to have read the page at WP:NPR and the new tutorial.

Incorrect Editing of Bun&Bunee

I am the Brand owner of Bun&Bunee and the changes you have made do not reflect facts, so please stop editing our page to reflect the wrong info.

The creators of the show we have now listed are the actual creators of the show. The ones you have listed are in fact NOT the creators of the show, nor did Miramax have anything to do with this show.

Even though you may think our page reads like advertising you should respect our outhority as the brand owners.

We will, over time get the page in the shape it should be for WikiPedia, however our goal now is to get the page current, so that it reflects the true and correct information and gives more information about the show.

We are happy to entertain suggestions, in the interest of learning the correct way to construct a WikiPedia page.

But we do not appreciate you reverting the info of our brand to something that is not true. In this way you are doing us and our brand a disservice.

Please stop doing this as it is a real pain and causes us to have to go back each day and check and re-update the info

I think you're a bit confused as to what Wikipedia is. As brand owners you have absolutely no say whatsoever on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is the only "owner" of the article about Bun&Bunee, and as such the editing community will update the article as they see fit, abiding by Wikipedia policy and guidelines. Specifically, I wasn't making any changes, quite the contrary; I was simply reverting an edit by an IP editor who introduced blatant ad-like and unencyclopaedic content, which also violated WP:EXTERNAL. If you deem information needs modification head over to WP:Requested edits and make sure you provide a thorough explanation, as well as independent and reliable sourcing. Charlie Zeleny Stop Speedy Deletion

Hey there, just wanted to contest the speedy deletion of the Charlie Zeleny American Drummer Biography Page. His page has been up for 5 years but was completely outdated (from 2011) and am trying to update his page with all his current bands and projects including Whiplash, Gala, Thalia and other bands/artists/sessions of note he has done. All the references are being put in over the next couple days. But I was able to grab all the data from credible sources throughout the internet with his updates. He is significant drummer and member of the session drummer community. He has been featured in hundreds of publications and is even found in hard cover music history books listed at the bottom of the press section.

Also posted this on the actual article: This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Charlie Zeleny is an important member of the American session musician community and is a drummer who plays with major bands and artists including Blotted Science, Behold the Arctopus, Jordan Rudess, Terry Bozzio, Joe Lynn Turner, Steve Augeri, The Great Kat, Gala, Thalia, Outasight among many others. This article is not vandalism, SPAM, or an attack page against Charlie Zeleny or anyone.

Furthermore, this article has been on Wikipedia successfully for 5 years and are current changes are updates to the Biography of Charlie Zeleny including new and updated musical projects. All References are being added over the next couple of days. Please do not delete this article during this update process.

Charlie Zeleny has played on over 135 records, many by major bands and artists on major labels. He is also well renowned specifically for his Drumageddon series of YouTube videos garnering over 1 million views and thousands of subscribers. He's been featured and interviewed in hundreds of publications, received front page newspaper and magazine coverage and been featured on the front page online magazine articles, blogs and interviews. Also, Charlie Z is mentioned in 4 music history books as being significant here with references added here:
