Ids[edit]

@Smokefoot: I edit conflicted with you on this page, so hopefully it came out OK. I see the formula also written as (Et4N)2[Fe2OCI6]. And I put in a CAS of 87495-23-6, but then retracted it as the sources were not authoritative. So perhaps you have access to a good CASNo. The chemical does not appear in Pubchem or chemspider as far as I can tell. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:35, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Graeme Bartlett: I am sitting in airports doing this stuff. Any help is appreciated and all conflicts forgiven. I recall that you had created some pages on the anions, so I need to look for them. It'll take me a couple of days to clean up this work.--Smokefoot (talk) 23:42, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Chemical Abstracts listing for CAS#87495-23-6 contains the following:
C8H20N.½Cl6Fe2O
Components: 2
Ethanaminium, N,N,N-triethyl-, hexachloro-μ-oxodiferrate(2-) (2:1)
This appears to me to match the compound described in this article. Reba16 (talk) 00:07, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
