Age[edit]

I noticed in some newspaper comments that there were some people saying that she is 38 and not 40. A quick check of Birth Index shows a Helen Elizabeth Daly birth registered Q2 1969 in Chapel-n-le-Frith, Derbyshire with mother's maiden name Bradley. The Bolton News article on the marriage gives her parents' names as Sylvia & Vivian. Another quick check of the Marriage Index shows a marriage of Felix J V Daly and Sylvia M Bradley registered Q3 1965 also in Chapel-en-le-Frith. If the "V" in the husband's initials is "Vivian" then would suggest that she was born 1969 - the birth could have still have been in Stockport as that might be the maternity hospital for that area. --jmb (talk) 14:14, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good work, but doesn't that count as original research? I too was confused as to the difference in ages mentioned in a recent Daily Mail article so came here to check. Your research seems reliable enough and if true then I think it's a case of Tess fudging her birth date to seem younger. However, there is no concrete proof of this as such (unless you can provide links), and therefore wikipedia policy is to go with imdb I'm afraid. I will have to revert for the time being. I can't provide working links because I am using a subscription service but the Birth, Marriage, Death Indexes are open for anyone to use at larger libraries, record offices etc. The GRO references are Helen Elizabeth Daly Chapel-En-Le-Frith Q2 1969 Vol 10a Page 2890. Marriage Felix J V Daly and Sylvia M Bradley Chapel-En-Le-Frith Q3 1965 Vol 10a Page 2153. Not all references are online ones! --jmb (talk) 08:00, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Her date of birth does not add up at the moment as it says April 27th 1969 at the top and March 4th 1969 in the panel. Also the Internet Movie Database says April 27th 1971. I have no idea what one to believe is correct. Steph2k1uk (talk) 13:55, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The month of birth still seems very contentious. Most sources seem to indicate 27th April 1969 but the edit has reverted back to 27th March 1969. IMDB states that the April date is correct ^[1] --Navrally (talk) 14:37, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Foot Fetish[edit]

The statement that Tess has a foot fetish has appeared recently. I can find no evidence to support this, though she does seem to have a following of foot fetishists - not at all the same thing.
