Hi @Schminnte:, welcome to DYK. Article is long and new enough, but I have a couple minor issues with referencing:

First sentence/paragraph in "Guido's excavations" has no inline citations.
The naming after the nearby hamlet also has no citations. If it's "obvious", but there's no written source explicitly saying that, I'd say remove that half-sentence.

Otherwise, no copyvio detected, and the original hook sounds good (will probably get readers to think "what's a crannog?"). Juxlos (talk) 15:22, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! Article looks good :) Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'd say the first hook is up to snuff – the first simply says that someone mistakenly thought an island was man-made, and I generally find that when users don't understand a hook, they don't stick around for very long.
