Rinsed?

"Eazy-E (Who is most know for getting RINSED by Cubie) was born..."

What the heck does 'RINSED' mean? 71.103.21.132 20:00, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

The armchair (suburban, white) gangster is indeed a strange beast. He uses all sorts of bizarre slang that he thinks exists but does not. Michael.A.Anthony 02:30, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Lance "Ryder" Wilson

I thought he looked like Eazy!! I wuz right, maybe thats why hes may fav character een though hes a traitor!! he'S played by MC Eiht whos in GTA SA, and they both have songs on RLS! So suz Charles Wright, on Master Sounds, though i dunno if they are related above it says they are not... RealG187 17:36, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

I dont think they be related

The character is a homage to Eazy. --Ted87 21:31, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Thats why I like him, its good the article says that! I kinda thought, this just proved me right! RealG187 20:36, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Anyone notice how cjs elder brother on GTA:san andreas looks a lot like Ice Cube and CJ kinda looks like Dr. Dre.

Damn I never thought about it but now that you mention it they do

look a lot like Dr. Dre and Ice Cube.

Nah, CJ look like Dr. Dre but i think Sweet's a darker version of Lloyd Banks

Will be on Sweet 16 this Monday.74.195.3.199 21:03, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

i hope you die for disgrassing someone such as this with MTV B-S(Esskater11 23:57, 7 June 2007 (UTC))

Uhhh. . . in what way is that disgraCeful? Michael.A.Anthony 02:32, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Gang Member

Eazy E was also a gang member of Kelly Park Compton Crips. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.41.113.242 (talk) 21:11, 5 March 2007 (UTC).

No Realy

Well, his son is a crip, in other words, his article once stated that he is a crip "like his father." how strange someone stated that he was a blood.Triple-Quadruple 04:55, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Thats lies eazy-e was a crip all his life, but gangsta rap at the time made the bloods and crips irrelevant to the average people like us. Theres loads of crips we dont know of in the rap game like Snoop Dogg, Xzibit and others. (Humphries6726... Tombstone

In his song "Tha Muthaphukkin' Real" he raps "And it's a fact to be exact my tombstone should read: He Put Compton On That Map". Wright's body was laid to rest at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California. Can anyone from that region check out his tombstone? I live in The Netherlands, I can hardly travel there to check it out. --213.46.1.82 17:01, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Never mind, I (finally) found a picture from his grave via Google. It says: "Our Beloved ERIC WRIGHT 1963 - 1995 We Loved Him A Lot But God Loved Him More". --213.46.1.82 23:10, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Does anyone have a problem with me removing the following text? It reads like something in a tabloid and has little to do with Eazy himself. If mentioned at all it should be a single sentence like : his daughter Erin has appeared on the MTV series 'My Super Sweet 16. Speak now or forever hold your piece:

"On February 5, 2007, his daughter Erin appeared on the MTV series 'My Super Sweet 16.' Her party was at a 16 million dollar mansion in Bel-Air, and in her entrance she appeared in an approx. $400k Lamborghini Murciélago. She is noted for her diva attitude to her clothing and hair stylist[citation needed]. She got a Porsche Cayenne for her birthday and had her party shut down due to noise levels."

No, go ahead and remove it; I agree completely. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 22:53, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Guns N' Roses??

It says in the article that before his death, Eazy-E was scheduled to do make music with Guns N' Roses. Where is this information from? I believe it to be false. 70.67.34.209 05:40, 10 April 2007 (UTC) 22:40, April 9 2007 (PST)

i know that axl rose from guns n' roses was often wearing a N.W.A cap at shows. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Siwhat (talkcontribs) 03:29, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

What is really needed would be a source saying such plans existed. The hat doesn't mean much. / edg 03:48, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Crip

He was a crip so somebody add that to the article! He allso sold drugs!

I think his gang affiliation and such are pretty well known as well. Jmlk17 06:18, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Horrorcore

With songs like, "Wut Would You Do?" "Any Last Werdz?" and, "Sorry Louie," I think it would be safe to add Horrorcore to E's list of genres.

I've never even heard of horrorcore, dude. Make a page about it :). Michael.A.Anthony 02:23, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

I think he sounded like he was caring to his family. Like his children which was better then the way eminem was and he only had two children to look after Eazy-E had seven....He had friggin time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.213.80.38 (talk) 08:32, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

ECE disambiguation page

I have removed a reference to this page on the ECE disambiguation page, as I found no reference either in the article or the talk page here to support its inclusion. Maralia 19:49, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Illness section

No only encyclopedia section could fully capture Eazy-E's illness. --NEMT 12:50, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. For emotional impact, there are only about six thousand documentaries about it. Michael.A.Anthony 02:22, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

his illness

hi, just wondering how Eazy actually contracted the virus? and when? (also wondering if all his kids are virus free.)

for it being the reason he died, there's not much to say how. was it a blood transfusion, unprotected sex, through drug use? 194.221.133.211 14:35, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Unprotected sex. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.47.140.143 (talk) 02:38, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Did he die because of sex? West Coast Ryda 19:58, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Well, I remember Eazy-E saying that he used condoms cause he doesn't want to screw around HIV or aids. God knows how he got AIDS, Mabye he never died :o-Random koko guy

The Bone Thugs-N-Harmony song Crossroads makes a reference to how Eazy-E contracted AIDS.. "and Miss Sleazy set up Eazy to fall". Perhaps that could be added to the article in some way? --Josh1billion 02:03, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Ice Cube says in an interview that in Eazy-E's early days that he never put on a rubber cuz he was free spirit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.96.84.200 (talk) 06:51, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Hate to break it to ya brothers, but condoms aren't AIDS-proof. That 99%-effective crap you hear all the time isn't as accurate as I'm sure a lot of HIV-positive people would have liked it to be. 214.13.173.15 (talk) 23:47, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

it is 99% effective, assuming it doesn't break or slip off which is where the overall % is lower than 99% —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.182.182.9 (talk) 19:34, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Lil Eazy-E

Who decided to redirect Lil Eazy-E to this page? That was a horrible decision. First of all, Lil Eazy-E (Eazy-E's son) is a rapper on his own-- this article only mentions him once and does not even mention his rapping career, nor his upcoming album. While I'm not quite a fan of Lil Eazy-E, for the sake of making Wikipedia a more complete source, the article must be reinstated, or, at the very least, merged, NOT simply redirected. --Josh1billion 22:35, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Ditto, I may not be a fan of Lil Eazy but he is not once mentioned in Eazy-E's article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.2.215.209 (talk) 09:36, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

The Lil Eazy-E page is currently protected, so I cannot remove the redirection (in order to start the real article). I have put in a request for unprotection. --Josh1billion 02:01, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

The request was denied because some users believe that Lil Eazy-E is not notable enough to be on Wikipedia. I disagree with that decision, as he has released a mixtape and is soon to release a full studio album. The album, The Prince of Compton, has a full track listing already released, as well as names of featured guests on several of those tracks (including Ice Cube). A list of producers has also been released, including Dr. Dre, Scott Storch, Cool & Dre, and a few others. I had all of this information on the The Prince of Compton article, but it was automatically deleted due to a Wikipedia rule which states that if an article had been deleted before, and someone re-creates the article again (even with loads of new information), it can be deleted again automatically without debate. Ah.. such are the downfalls of Wikipedia. --Josh1billion 23:00, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

I disagree with that decision as well. Last I checked, the Lil' Eazy article had as much information and as many sources as the article for Dr. Dre's son Hood Surgeon, and it's gone untouched.. Th 2005 16:17, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

i added more to the lil eazy-e section, feel free to edit anything ive got wrong. www.eazy-ecpt.com give most news about both eazy-e and lil eazy these days so keep checking it out. (82.32.156.156 (talk) 11:21, 13 September 2008 (UTC))

Eazy-E didn't appear on Poetic Justice!!!

Who's the moron writing that Eazy E appeared as Thug #2 on Poetic Justice? That guy who played that role is named Che Avery. I'm probably the biggest Eazy-E fan and I've seen that movie several times. It was not Eazy. I've edited it but someone edit it back. Btw check out the IMDB page for Poetic Justice, it clearly says Che Avery - Thug #2 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zirak90 (talkcontribs) 10:18, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

HEY I'M PRETTY SURE, EAZY-E's biggest fan wouldn't be some guy who spends his time on wikipedia, I;m not saying its me, His biggest fan would probably be DJ Yella, who spends his dayz now honoring Eazy, Would it kill u 2 put one of his biggest fans, I Mean WOW Man. The only way u could be sure u were Eazy-E's biggest fan was if every Eazy-E fan got lined up in the world and tested, I'm probably a bigger fan than u. It don't matter man just watch what u say!

WTF was the point of that? The only reason I mentioned me being "the biggest Eazy E fan" was to show I clearly know how he looks like and that that guy in Poetic Justice wasnt him. But I guess you weren't serious, dont see the funny thing about it though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zirak90 (talkcontribs) 23:09, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Crip?

Why does this article say Eazy E is a crip without any references? It is common knowledge he sold drugs but he was never a crip. He did songs with several crips, his son may be a crip, but he is not. Never once did he talk about being a crip. In fact no one in N.W.A. was a crip or blood. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.167.204.57 (talk) 15:01, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[1] Scribewire 15:10, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Actually every member of the N.W.A was a crip, Except for Dr. Dre., Eazy-E even says in his song - It's On that he's on one of the Crips biggest sets so he can make Snoop feel small. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.96.84.200 (talk) 06:49, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

actually i think eazy e was the only cripDrumac (talk) 01:41, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

than you are a common idiot not to know he was a crip —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.165.130.71 (talk) 04:21, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

they were all crips, dre reps 213 with snoop. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.32.156.156 (talk) 19:36, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

uhmmm snoop and dogg pound are rollin 20's Crip members. 213 is sayin dey from LA and Dre fucked with suge knight whos a Compton MOB pirus Blood so uhmm yeah whoever u are ur off a bit.

Song

If Eazy, along with B.G. Knocc Out, and Dresta Gangsta, if they are crips, why does the song Real Muthaphucckin G's has a C and K together in the title? i don't know any real crips that use a C and K together —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.138.137.137 (talk) 02:10, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

It's spelled "Real Muthaphukkin G's". look it up rookie. i even got the albuma nd on the back, its spelt muthaphukkin.

Really? Sorry, various websites say it with the C and the K.
But what about "Fuck The Police" though? There's a C and K there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.175.38.28 (talk) 01:26, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

LMAO, they are taking this too serious, but yeah that NWA song had CK. Maybe crips use ck together and bloods not, because you can notice when you see at DJ Quik It is spelled as Quick but a blood has removed it. Yet crips use the Fuck. Woop-Woop That's the sound of da Police 13:25, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

maybe....If yall know real gangstas Crip and Blood talk aint all wut it cracked up to be.....so perhaps it didn't seem to be that big of a deal to spell fuck how it should be spelled....and on top of it, that was b4 gang life was all glamorous and shit like ppl make it out to be now like its cool and the point of the song wasnt to rep wit they down wit.

Casual

I heard his nickname was Casual before Eazy-E, is it true? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.47.145.208 (talk) 21:45, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

ghostwriting

Ice Cube and the D.O.C. wrote Eazy's lyrics for his first solo album "Eazy Duz It" and for "Straight Outta Compton". (I'm not sure why it says Mc Ren). The D.O.C. took over writing for Eazy and Dre when Ice Cube left on Efil4zaggin. I'm not sure who wrote for him when the D.O.C. left, does anyone have any information on this? But this definitely needs to be added to the article, considering he is a rapper.Drumac (talk) 01:51, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Censorship

I know f-all about rap and hip-hop but the censorship on this article is all over the place - the song title Fuck tha Police isn't censored yet his message to fans on politics - ""How the f—can I be a Republican when I got a song called 'F—tha Police'?" he asked. "I ain't shit—ain't a Republican or Democrat. I didn't even vote. My vote ain't going to help! I don't give a f—who's the president." is censored. Shouldn't it be listed in it's original form?
