Modify the wording of the illness and death section

Right now there is a sentence that reads: "He announced his illness in a public statement on March 16, 1995. Wright allegedly lost his virginity at the age of twelve, and his promiscuous behavior resulted in not only the fatal disease, but also in seven children with six different women.[13][35][36]" in the Illness and Death section.

I think that the wording can be changed to leave out the moral judgement of Eazy-E's life having sex and dying from Aids. I think a more appropriate, and less damning wording towards victims of Aids, might be "He announced his illness in a public statement on March 16, 1995. Wright allegedly lost his virginity at the age of twelve, and had unprotected sex which lead to him contracting Aids.[13][35][36]"

Straight Outta Compton release date

I know many sources and the album itself list 1988 as the release date for the N.W.A album Straight Outta Compton, but Ice Cube has said that the album wasn't released until 1989. He said that in one interview from around 1997 and another from 2013. His beef with Dr DRE and Snoop Dogg

Dr.Dre felt that he was not making enough cash with NWA and that the accounter was ripping him off so he left.Eazy-E was pissed because he was putting money infront of the group.So Dr.Dre and Eazy-E just beefed Dre did it as he said "I thought it was funny,part of the game",but then eazy-e was in critical condition with AIDS Dre eventually came to see him in the hospital but,Eazy-E was uncounsis he got to say Goodbye but Eazy didnt get to say it back.Later in the Chronic 2001 he would share his feeling with the world with the track 'whats the diffrence'.Go look at the lyrics and you see.It was a great battle but it was said to see Eazy-E go.

Year of Birth

Editing my comment below, According to the information published in the U.S. Find A Grave Index , via Ancestry.com, his year of birth is, indeed, 1963:

If you go to the first link, on the page is a picture of his ACTUAL grave marker. The grave marker clearly states that his birth date was September 7th, 1963. Actually on multiple websites it states that his family and friends stated that he was born in 1963. Given that he was 31 years old when he died in March of 1995 and was born in September, I could easily see how someone could conclude that he would be born in 1964, since 1964-1995 is 31 years difference; however, if this were true then he would have, in fact, been only 30 years old, since he would have died before being able to celebrate his birthday. Therefore being born in 1963 is the only logical conclusion , if he was indeed 31 when he died. Also BET did a "Happy 50th Birthday" for Easy-E in 2013 to celebrate him and his accomplishments before he died. This would also seem to solidify his birth date in 1963. But if this isnt enough, California birth index has his birth date listed as September, 1963...

Given his family and friends contend he was born 1963 and his tombstone reads 1963 the article should either say 1963 or reflect that there is ambiguity to his birth. Relying on gov't records alone for a person born in the 1960's and growing up in Compton is not appropriate.

His family and friends say '64 so I suggest you back up that claim. Scroll down and watch this video of his daughter say 1964 at 2:31 and pause video at 0:26 to see in loving memory say 1964. His widow got obituary and headstone wrong and you can't discount the birth record when his family are in agreement so it is not just relying on that as the video is the source used next to it. 92.237.211.110 (talk) 07:58, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

The album you mentioned was released after his death so he has no input on how long he lived and the people that did went by what it said on his grave and obituary. For why it is wrong see the IP explanation above which includes his family saying the correct year in this video and also there is no birth record for him being born in 1963 but there is for 1964. The text as currently written includes: 1) facts irrelevant to the topic of the section of the article in which they appear (i.e., "Illness and Death"), including the number of children Wright fathered, the number of women who bore him children, and the age at which Wright lost his virginity (which is, in addition to being irrelevant, unverified) 2) insinuations regarding Wright's moral character not appropriate for an encyclopedia article, including the use of the loaded word "promiscuous" and the reference to the number of children by different women

The proposed revised text retains the relevant facts without any inappropriate moral insinuations.

I am not proposing to erase any information. I would suggest that information be added concerning rapper Frost's assertion that Eazy-E was infected with acupuncture needles carrying the HIV/AIDS virus following a motorcycle accident. I personally cannot say if this information is true. But this assertion has been refuted as infeasible by a University of Massachusetts Amherst professor. More information on this counter-assertion can be found here:

Additionally, I would suggest adding a section concerning efforts by Eazy-E's daughter, Ebie, to raise money to further investigate issues surrounding her father's death. Ebie strongly believes that her father was murdered, and outlines a number of suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

Also, when he died, there was a logo referring to the number of days he lived - 11523. That's the number of days from September 7, 1963 to March 25, 1995.

The book Original Gangstas by Ben Westhoff puts it as following: "Though Eazy's gravestone, and most obituaries, list his birth year as 1963, that is likely not accurate. The funeral program gave his birth year as 1964, as do most official court documents.
