Article Evaluation[edit]

Article is vague and missing pertinent information on this enzyme. It is missing structures (both of enzyme and catalytic reagents/intermediates), reaction mechanism scheme, and information on the active site and other relevant amino acid residues. Each fact is not referenced within the article, although references listed at the end are from reputable journals. Jgmurphy102 (talk) 02:57, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article missing a lot of important information. Images of the enzyme from Pymol or similar software needed. Unnecessary to show the basic reaction scheme then list the reagents and products. Section on structural studies needs an update (from 2007). Needs a section on the enzyme's catalytic mechanism. Adbates (talk) 21:52, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article gives no information for role of FAD other than the fact that it functions as a cofactor. Also, '4 substrates' looks much less professional than 'four substrates,' along with the few typos in the nomenclature section, bring down the quality of the article. There is also nothing listed under the references section (and nothing is cited), despite the fact that there are references listed under the further reading section. The entire article needs an overhaul. Arago2 (talk) 03:38, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
