Tafrijan (Persian: تفريجان), also Romanized as Tafrījān,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Alvandkuh-e Sharqi Rural District of the Central District of Hamadan County, Hamadan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,134 in 609 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,149 people in 691 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,149 people in 691 households.[2]
