Sarkal Rural District (Persian: دهستان سركل)[3] is in the Central District of Marivan County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Kani Dinar.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 22,745 in 5,189 households.[6] There were 13,086 inhabitants in 3,211 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 13,937 in 3,811 households. The most populous of its 34 villages was Tazehabad, with 2,539 people.[2]
