The course introduces students to the history of sexuality in U.S. history from European colonization through the present day. Topics will include sexuality, dating and marriage, LGBTQ experiences and rights, abortion and contraception, sex education, regulations of sexual practices, and attitudes toward sex. Students will create or update a Wikipedia page based on one of the topics covered in class--a historical event, person, organization, or concept.
