US Customs and Border Protection officers[edit]

US Customs and Border Protection officers

Interesting subject; good size; appears in SWAT, War on Terrorism and police. Perhaps add it to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Comments:

  • I like the colors, but ... it needs to have a depth of field. The blurriness of the guys on the right just ruins it for me. Daniel Case 03:50, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • support. There is no blurriness... It's what you call Focus. It's a good quality shot, with good detail, and shows people not posing. Troubleshooter

Seconder:

  • I really like the shot (and the blurriness is fine for me, it focuses attention on the front guy), but it's so noisy. I'm a bit torn, so I recommend you do nominate it for FPC and see what others think. Stevage 11:43, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • It'll fall through. The blurryness looks pleasing to the eye, but the important issue is that due to the tight crop and blur nothing stands out as an encyclopedically relevant subject. We now know that those guys approach in a line formation, but we don't know in which situation (the picture provides no context), we do not see any officer in full attire, so it isn't really instructive about weapons an armor either. Promo shot. --Dschwen 21:37, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, I disagree, it makes a great lead photo for SWAT. Nothing wrong with a promo shot if it's a clear, colourful and informative. Stevage 23:10, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Would reducing the size improve the noise problems. It looks beautiful and crisp on the image page, but click on it and it is terrible. --liquidGhoul 00:49, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
