On references[edit]

First, thank you indeed for your contribution to wikipedia. Second, your contributed articles Kodecyte and Kodevirion are entirely referenced to S. Henry; some references are unpublished (note also the broken/inactive doi: 10.3791/3289). This may result in a blanket removal of all content. May I suggest you read WP:Primary and rectify this situation as soon as time permits? Regards. Materialscientist (talk) 04:14, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I should note that both of these articles mentioned involve very new technology, so it may be some time until suitable secondary sources are available to supplement the article. It is true all papers have the author S. Henry, however there is also over 15 other authors in the references, so a claim to primary research or non-notability is unfounded, and the suggestion of a blanket removal of all content is drastic to say the least.Xiphiaz (talk) 01:00, 12 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Xiphiaz,

I noticed you marked an article as a stub using the {{stub}} template. Did you know that there are thousands of stub types that you can use to clarify what type of stub the article is? Properly categorizing stubs is important to the Wikipedia community because it helps various WikiProjects to identify articles that need expansion.

If you have questions about stub sorting, don't hesitate to ask! There is a wealth of stub information on the stub sorting WikiProject, and hundreds of stub sorters. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of OP-1[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on OP-1, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Evaders99 (talk) 09:07, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at OP-1[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from OP-1, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 09:21, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
