Welcome to Wikipedia. I am just assuming you are new since I only see two edits under this user name. Thanks for the additions to HemisFair '68, keep 'em coming. I created the article and would love to see it expanded more. If you can add references to the additions that would even be better. Use the drop-down menu under Templates at the top of the edit box and choose the appropriate one. They are pretty self-explanatory how to fill in. Do you have any images from the fair you would be willing to add? You must own the copyright and be willing to release under a Creative Commons share alike license. I can help if you need any. I've added some quick and dirty media references to the additions for you; I wasn't able to easily find anything on the 2012 HPARC renovations, but I'm sure they're out there. Hello and thank you for your welcome :) I am a resident of San Antonio and am a World's Fair enthusiast, and an avid collector of HemisFair '68. In 2011 I launched my own website www.worldsfair68.info to share my growing collection and knowledge of all things HemisFair. I have visited this page before and thought it would be fun to add a handful of info about the Fair. I just took a try at revising my posting from earlier and added some citations, looking for an article citation for the hotel. Question on images; in my collecting I have purchased 100+ Kodachrome slides from the fair where I have made my own scans of for upload to my website, I would be happy to share some on this page, would this meet the copyright requirement? Also; I created my website as a fun hobby project which as an informative commentary only, I thought I add a link here so readers can have access to my site as well, does this create any issues with promoting? Unless you also purchased the copyright to the images, they cannot be used on Wikipedia in most cases. There would have to be a legitimate fair use claim, which would probably be hard to justify. Here is more info: Wikipedia:Image use policy. Generally promoting your own website is considered a conflict of interest, but your site is non-commercial and seems to be neutral and provides reliable sources so I believe it will stand.
