Edit Warring[edit]

Hi there and welcome to Wikipedia. It is great to have new and enthusiastic editors here, but just a word of warning about edit warring. Your recent additions to Chuvash people are welcome in attempting to improve the article, but also contested by a consensus of editors. There is a talk discussion ongoing about your additions, and you should contribute to that discussion rather than simply re-inserting challenged material. Please take a look at WP:BRD. Your edits were bold, and that is good. However, they have been contested and so now you need to discuss. Reverting contested information ito an article without editor consensus is considered to be edit warring.

You are very welcome to contribute your thoughts on the talk page. I hope to speak to you there. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 10:43, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

About the Bulgars[edit]

What makes you think Chuvash are of "Bulgarian and Ugric" origin? And why did you call me Volga Tatar, I am a Chuvash. Closest Uralic relatives of Chuvash people are Udmurt and Mari people. Those aren't even Ugric, they are Finnic.

And Chuvashes are mostly descendants of Sabir tribes of Volga Bulgaria. But the ethnonym of Bulgar and Bulgarian is not the same. You are telling me Chuvashes are descendants of Slavic Bulgarian Balkan people.

Chuvash people are quite different from the other Turkic peoples. The culture in a sense was built in opposition to the neighbouring Tatars, who are more similar to other Turkic nations. There is a even a saying about Chuvashes who become muslim "он ушел к татарам" (he left for the Tatars).

Tbh idea of pan-bulgarism and pan-turkism is pretty alien for us. Volgabulgari (talk) 10:53, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, you write to me what I didn't say, I see machine translation, you don't even know English. I write clippings from scientific articles, I'm not interested in your opinion, only science and dry facts, I don't have time to spend teaching you history and source studies. Good luck.
