Your edits on Allahabad[edit]

Hello. Per WP:COMMONNAME we use the common name in English, i.e. whatever name that is most commonly used in English language media worldwide, and do not change names just because an Indian state, or the Indian government, says so. It took ten years for Bombay to be changed to Mumbai here, because that's how long it took for the common name in English to change, and we still use Bangalore, instead of Bengaluru, since the common name in English hasn't changed, and perhaps never will change. So stop trying to change "Allahabad" to "Prayagraj", when the common name in English language media worldwide has changed, the name will be changed here too, but not until then. The name also doesn't become official until approved by the Union Government of India. And please note that Wikipedia is an international English language encyclopaedia, registered and headquartered in the United States, not an Indian English language encyclopaedia, so we're not bound by Indian laws and government decrees. Thank you. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 10:20, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

December 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cpt.a.haddock. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Allahabad that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please be civil to other editors. Edit summaries like this one are not welcome here. Thanks.Cpt.a.haddock (talk) (please ping when replying) 13:21, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not assume ownership of articles as you did at Allahabad Airport. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you.  LeoFrank  Talk 13:06, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Kempegowda International Airport, you may be blocked from editing.  LeoFrank  Talk 13:50, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Allahabad Airport Edit[edit]

With due respect, you may be very knowledgeable about Airports, Aircrafts and Aviation sector in India, but selectively editing out my own contribution, terming it as childish won't make you more of what you are. History forms an important part if any place or an entity, it is better you research about it more. Don't think you own the page or wikipedia. It is built on the collective contributions from its members. Vyomtripathi (talk) 13:57, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You think you are smart by these silly removals? [1] and [2]. Your edits are highly disruptive in nature and I will report you if you do not stop. If you think you can prove your point by removing content that has been written properly from another article just because you wrote a an essay on Allahabad Airport, you are wrong! Stop your edit war.  LeoFrank  Talk 14:00, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Selective removal? It just shows how you fail to understand how things work here. See WP:NOT and WP:OSE. Your childish removal of content from Kempegowda International Airport is a mere retaliation to the removal at Allahabad Airport which does not even conform to our manual-of-style guidelines let alone the way it was written. It would've been sensible to rather ask why the content was removed than doing what you did at Kempegowda International Airport.  LeoFrank  Talk 14:05, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What are you trying to prove, you too are on a spree to edit every goddamn article on airport, without any thought, I have already cited my edits, each and every sentence has been cited and now you edit and day that it's written Like an essay, common why is only this article written an essay, not History related to Delhi or Bangalore Airport, Common, don't be selective in your approach. Tell me how is different from these pages? They also mention dates, years, events in chronological manner, talking about the manual of style, there are a lot of mistakes in those write ups too, shall I mark and remove them?
If at all there is a mistake, tell me, I am all ears, 3 mistakes, and I won't edit again, and I will point out 3 mistakes from these two pages (Bangalore and Delhi), Dine?
And if you do it again and again then also, You can report wherever you want, I will keep reverting my write up back, again and again, if not from this account, then from other accounts. Because, 1) The edit is proper, 2) It is properly cited and 3)It's not written like a school essay. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vyomtripathi (talkcontribs) 14:15, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You just want to argue that you never heard of what was told to you. Also the fact that you blatantly are declaring to edit war using multiple accounts is a cause of concern and you are likely to be banned for such behaviour.  LeoFrank  Talk 14:20, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You are very funny Mr Minister of Civil Aviation, you want to ban me now. Go ahead, be happy with your today's only achievement.

@Vyomtripathi: Hi, I would just like to tell you to read WP:SOCK as you stated that you would use another account and WP:CIVIL because you are name calling User:LeoFrank and clearly freaking out. As for achievements Leo is far more experienced than both of us and has been here for more than 10 years. At the end just the same two things be polite and calm. Thank you and happy editing! January 2019[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Allahabad Airport. Comment on content, not on fellow editors.  LeoFrank  Talk 07:48, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Vyomtripathi: Haven't you learnt? Both of us have been telling you to calm down and be polite but no, you just won't listen try reading policies and guidelines and may be take a break and start afresh. First you had an edit war then you were name calling and talking about socking and now you're name calling other editors as well! Repeatedly I'm telling you read WP:CIVIL and if you don't, well what'll happen is stated above. Bingobro (Chat) 03:39, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
