Hello Truth and God. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Truth and God. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Truth and God|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. Please make the disclosure described at the conflict of interest policy. If you find the coding too challenging, simply write that you are a family member on User:Truth and God. Family members should not directly make edits about Tabatha Sterling, but may propose edits as edit requests, which you did already. The edit request process is for proposing specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. If you want to discuss the article more generally, it doesn't need to be as a formal edit request and you can just post your comments.

As I said on Talk:Patriotic Alternative, we can't just erase what happened in the past(unless you are alleging that the sources are in error and what is said did not happen at all) but if there are newer sources where Tabatha repudiated her prior actions, or other ways to better indicate that what occurred was in the past, please discuss those ideas on the article talk page. 331dot (talk) 10:41, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the clarity. So updating the article with a valid and timely sentence about Ms Stirlings current position that she has not been involved either formally or informally with this organisation for over 2.5 years is not possible on the main page? You must first discuss changes you want to make to the article before they are implemented- as a family member you should not implement them yourself. If you would like to propose a rewording of the passage to make it clearer that the actions were in the past, please make a new edit request(as you did the first one) where you say I would like to change the following passage(copy the passage) to this version (post the passage with the changes you want). The other thing you can do is offer independent reliable sources where she is described as having either repudiated her prior actions or it is said that she cut ties with the organization. 331dot (talk) 10:53, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
