Hello there, and welcome to Wikipedia! You posted on my user page that you believe I may have reverted your contributions in error.

I read what you wrote. It really sucks that they did that to you, and your company. Unfortunately, it's against several policies on Wikipedia to include that story even if it is true, factual, and pertinent. Many new users struggle with this concept, and I would like to explain a bit more:

  • Wikipedia has a third-party verifiability commitment. That means the press, not people, give us the content we reproduce. First-person accounts are not accepted. even if it's totally unfair!
  • You can't write about yourself, your life, or your company. It's a rule. This is called "Conflict-of-interest", because it makes the article tilted to one perspective.
  • The content you wrote was overly detailed and was not written in the format readers expect from an encyclopedia.

You're perfectly welcome to contribute, but adding that content back in is going to be a losing battle (I'm sorry to say). I believe we have enough content that people need in an encyclopedia to adequately describe the company and its ordeal without going into any detail. Summary is often key here.

If you wish to contribute I encourage you to read some of the following about policy:

I'm glad to see you've created an account; again, welcome, and sorry to disappoint. I hope I've addressed any concerns you have. The Wikipedia:Teahouse is probably a good place to start if you have more questions—very friendly place. meteor_sandwich_yum (talk) 12:45, 28 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
