About the Draft:2004 Connecticut State Senate election

So I see you declined the draft because it should be merged into an exisiting article 2004 United States Senate election in Connecticut. The thing is those are two different elections, even though they're in the same state. They shouldn't be merged. I'm going to now analyze my sources:
Quartz: Mentioned founder's name 8 times mentioned organization name 6 times, basically the whole article is about it
Fast Company: Founder's name 2 times, organization name 3 times Whole article is basically about it, provides a criticism section (I should include that in the article)
Tech Crunch: 6 mentions for organization name, 8 mentions for founder name, section written about it (not the whole article) about 1/4-1/3
Chicago Tribune (newly added): 3 mentions for founder's name and another 3 for organization name. Article is basically interviews with NGOs and people who volunteered there, about half of the article covers the organization.
I believe that the article at least has 2-3 reliable sources that provide significant coverage, and maybe 4.

Reason for your rejection

Hi,

You rejected my draft article on the NACK-Oriented Reliable Multicast (NORM) protocol because "This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources."

I modeled my submission on the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) article. In fact, I copied the TCP article and basically started rewriting everything to match the NORM protocol. With the exception of the Background section, all the information about the protocol comes from the IETF Request for Comment document, in this case RFC 5740. I also compared my NORM article to another transport layer protocol article, Stream Control Transmission Protocol, and think my article is much better supported.

Could you please tell me more precisely what you think is lacking? Because again——with the exception of the Background paragraph, which I took great pains to document——everything in there comes right from the RFC, just as TCP, UDP, and SCTP do.

What i mean is that the mentioned sections are not cited. Please add reference as you have added to "Background" section. Your submission is cited with 9 references (external links) but rest parts are not cited. For instance, let's say "COVID" have caused many deaths across various countries. But how can one verify this claim unless it is not cited with sources such as books, newspapers, journals etc?. To be more specific, Wikipedian articles must be well-sourced with inline citations like ([1]). Please read WP:IC and WP:CS.

With five major newspaper saying he is an actor and so much filmography, which is incomplete, why do you keep saying it's not verifiable or reliably sourced. This just doesn't make sense. Your submission reads like an essay than presenting it in formal WP:TONE.

I am asking this because the sources I have referred to included articles from National Newspapers, a journal article from a University Database, as well as articles from the local government and the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. Only one of the sources are considered primary (website of the hotel) and that was used to cite basic information. Several of the sources are in Indonesian, but they are translatable via translating engines like google translate. As an example, I have inputted the sources onto Google Translate, and they were translated successfully without much trouble.

I just would like to request further clarification, as it is in my honest belief that apart from one source, all the others are verifiable and independent of the organisation/hotel in question.

I was hoping the reasons for rejection could be reconsidered, as the reason "the sources cited to be Filmography with reliable sources is needed to demonstrate notability" appear to be invalid when taking into account the vast majority of sources, which include South China Morning Post (one of the main national papers in Asia), Variety (the main film trade magazine in the US), Screen International (one of the biggest trade papers in the UK), InvestHK (the creative division of the Hong Kong government), China Press (a major paper in Asia), Hong Kong Trade Development Council (a government division in Hong Kong), and BrightTalk (again reputable). The use of longstanding reputable national and international newspapers, and government entities should fit the definition of "reliable sources".

Also the 2nd point "Also, multiple independent reliable sources are required to support claims such as how the director, producer "developed high concept stories"" is wrong because the entry does not discuss "how" high concept stories are developed. Instead the entry states that the subject formed a company "to develop high concept stories" which is information directly stated by the subject in interviews, and the company's mission statement.

Cormarer, atleast 3 great sources are required to demonstrate notability. Any unsourced material must be either removed or cited with reliable entries. In case, sources are not available for specific content/parts of submission, you may remove it. Since your submission is about a musician, please try to add discography with reliable entries. A good lead section, career, and discography should be added. Notability is not determined by the length of article, but it is demonstrated by reliable sources. Rejection for Kozlov Club draft

Rejecting my drift, you said "Nearly a c-class draft cited with one single source which is also club's own website. You will need to add multiple reliable sources such as newspapers, books, magazines etc. to satisfy notability." Clear. Still, the draft speaks of Russian subject and is, in fact, almost the translation of existing Russian wikipedia page of a subject, provided with dozens of sources. All of them in original Russian. And I reckon there are almost no sources/references in English about the subject. What should i do in this case, to repeat/copy the same sources (in Russian for English page)? Or leave the subject withour English wikipedia page just because it's so happened nobody's writing about it in certain language?

I have to take serious issue with your reasoning for the rejection of this article and the comment you left regarding SIGCOV. The previous editor -- and the editors before him -- stated that the subject has SIGCOV. All their requests have been made and the previous editor said the article was ready for publication after his and the other editors' editing requests were met. Your comment leads me to believe that you did not check the references carefully. The references are -- with the exception of one single article -- about the company and not the founder. The stories do discuss the founder in detail, but that is because the company is clearly using the founder's background as part of its marketing and business development strategy. However, this "founder coverage" accounts for only a small percentage of any of these references. Please see the below descriptions of the links for reference:

1. The first link clarifies basic information about the company and its number of employees. 2. The CNN video is dedicated entirely to the company but also has information about the founder's background. 3. As I mentioned to the previous editor, I am and have been a business and finance news editor for most of my adult life. I am able to differentiate between "company" and "founder" coverage. Additionally, as I noted previously, the company is the leader in Russia and the region producing healthy foods and snacks, plant-based products and now plant-based meat. It is one of the best-known brands in the country and, hence, is deserving of a Wikipedia page.

Regarding the TV show, it is actually about the company, and what it takes to run the company. I speak Russian. Here is the official description of the episode at that link from Russian (Google Translation). TellyMix source is talking about her television music competition. Music competitions contribute very little to notability. NME source is saying "Talia Dean is lead singer of King’s Daughters" (I think a musical group).

PinkNews seems talking about her participation in X Factor competition show. A musician (see WP:MUSICBIO) is presumed notable "if they meet at least one of the following criteria":

1. Has received multiple independent coverage in reliable sources. (independent sources generally discuss the subject in detail without influence of other topics. See WP:IS).

2. Has won/nominated notable award(s).

3. Has made significant contribution to music.

Please read WP:MUSICBIO for detailed information.

However, due to lack of resources in some countries like (Burundi, Somalia, Central Africa, Niger etc.), media is not much active and as a result, notable topics receive very less media attention. Hello - I just wanted to ask about your recent denial of my new page on Mara Karlin. You suggested that I highlight her role in international affairs at the Pentagon. I am a little confused because I have that in the top section and explain how she is currently the acting assistant secretary of defense for international affairs. Joe Biden has nominated her for a new position in the Pentagon of equal stature.

I am confused why she is not considered notable. Every other nominated assistant secretary of defense has a wiki page. In fact, if you look at this [page], she's the only one listed without one. I am new to Wikipedia and tried to create a page for her there because she seemed like she would merit one based on the fact that everyone else who received a similar nomination has one.
