Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Dart games

A tag has been placed on Category:Dart games requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. July 2019

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Thorne Research a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. TWJohn, yeah, I think given that you were the only editor, the concerns are lessened. If another editor had edited it, then the procedure would have required an adminsitrator to perform a technical deletion. If however, in the future, you accidentally create a page, you can add {{db-self}} at the top to request that it is deleted.

Finally, to reply to an editor, there are criteria to trigger Notifications. It's easiest to use one of the {{re}}, {{ping}}, or {{u}} family as I did in this response (and ensure you sign the post). Because you initally linked to my talk page, the mechanism didn't trigger (the signature and mention have to be done in the same edit). Thanks! ∰Bellezzasolo✡ Discuss 16:16, 18 July 2019 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Donkey (card game). It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Paid editing

Hello TWJohn. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation.
