Welcome...

Hello, SyedKumaran, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like this place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Since some of your edits were addressing articles that were marked as "underlinked", I also want to call your attention specifically to Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking, which describes in some detail when links are and aren't appropriate, and how to avoid "overlinking". When adding links, it's best to make sure that the links lead to a helpful, intended target. For example, in the lede of Holocaust Center of Northern California, you linked the word Peninsula to an article not relevant to this subject, and Marin to a lengthy disambiguation page. Also note the guideline's comment that "everyday words understood by most readers in context" need not be linked. Your efforts are appreciated, though: these kinds of things can be fixed, and linking gets easier (and even, dare I say it, fun) with experience.

Again, I hope you enjoy editing here. Welcome! --Arxiloxos (talk) 16:06, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
