A fine point about links[edit]

When you create links, don't create links to plural nouns. Wikipedia's article naming guidelines require that article names are nearly always either singular nouns or gerund verbs. For that reason links to plural nouns, adjectives, other verb forms, etc. are not preferred even if they happen to work due to a redirect. If the context requires a plural you can add an s to a linked term by just sticking it on the end of the word outside the square brackets. This has the same effect as piping the link but is easier to read. For example: "[[Optical processor]]s" produces "Optical processors", and is easier to read in the edit window than "[[Optical processor|Optical processors]]".--Srleffler (talk) 05:48, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
