Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. April 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Tacyarg. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Anne Dudley, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 10:24, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Good morning, I work for Anne Dudley and manage online content. I run her website www.annedudley.co.uk and I am correcting and updating this wikipedia entry. This can be used for citation if needed. Please unarchive my updates and add my changes to the page. Thanks Aaron Shorttalk (talk) 10:40, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Shorttalk. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Anne Dudley, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 12:42, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Good afternoon, I do not think the changes I have made are contentious or for promotion purposes - I have just updated the list of works Anne has written and corrected some factual errors (such as being born in Beckenham). I request respectfully that my edit be published. Shorttalk (talk) 12:46, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
