Hey SharkyIzrod, I saw your post on r/starcraft about creating the Professional StarCraft II competition article. I don't have a lot of energy to do any heavy research to contribute but I just wanted to let you know that I'm keeping an eye on it and am available to help with little things. You can drop me a line on User talk:Airplaneman or send me a reddit dm.

First thing I noticed is that when you created the article, you said you took material from other articles on Wikipedia. If this copying was significant, proper attribution is required. Please see this information page Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Again, I can help with the details. Thanks for contributing! Cheers, Airplaneman 22:13, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:14, 8 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nova Covert Ops[edit]

Your thoughts on improvement to article? The article could be potentially expanded upon finding new sources with a lot of interesting information, but it would be pushing it for such an obscure/low importance topic. 120.22.9.30 (talk) 10:19, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies for the late reply. Honestly, exactly because it is an obscure and low importance topic I don't really think there is too much to improve in terms of adding content. Maybe the release section could grow a bit, but there really isn't much to the topic, especially as it is single-player content and as a result is not continuously updated and kept relevant. At most, rewrites could improve clarity and quality, but I believe there is little to do in terms of growth. SharkyIzrod (talk) 14:52, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Planet coaster[edit]

Hi sharky, I was just wondering how my list of all types of coasters in planet coaster was not in a “well formatted table” I think that it was quite well done with me separating them into steel, wood and hybrids and was even considering sorting them by manufacturer too AGAR-05 (talk) 10:25, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, by definition what you did was more a list (not even a bulleted one at that), a table is its own thing with wikitext syntax to go with it. Here's the help page for it if you'd like to learn on that front. However, as a whole a table/list of all possible coasters in Planet Coaster is probably not a good idea. See other games' Wikipedia pages as examples. Most relevantly, even within the genre you won't see RollerCoaster Tycoon 1/2/3/World's pages listing all possible coasters. Nor will you see Planet Zoo listing all implemented animals. Wikipedia is a generalist encyclopedia and this is too specific and too large in volume for a relatively niche title. You won't see every playable character from a MOBA title or every unit from a strategy game listed in such a manner (and only the most popular games out there tend to have pages with lists of relevant characters, which are separate, well-sourced, and detailed, things a list like yours wasn't). This doesn't make the information you added wrong, not at all, it just doesn't fit and would be much better suited to the appropriate fandom-specific wiki. TV1 (Bulgaria) moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to TV1 (Bulgaria). Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Reading Beans (talk) 21:32, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I understand your line of thinking, but I believe you'll find that it compares favorably to the sourcing of most articles on Wikipedia regarding TV channels, especially Bulgarian ones. From a bit of cursory research:
The article started as and mostly is a translation of the Bulgarian Wikipedia article for the channel, which has one (relatively unreliable) source itself. I will nonetheless take the time to find more references that are importantly not primary and help establish notability before moving the article out of draft space. It just seems inconsistent to not have applied comparable standards to both more and less notable TV channels' articles. SharkyIzrod (talk) 07:25, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
