Picture upload[edit]

Hi,

I just tagged the picture you uploaded, "Heartdontneed.jpg". We aren't allowed to just grab pictures from around the web and upload them here on Wikipedia, unless the pictures are in the public domain or have been released under the GFDL. The safe assumption to make is that everything on the Web is copyrighted, unless it's clearly stated it's in the public domain, released under the GFDL, is a work of an employee of the US federal government (and hence in the public domain), or the creator of the work died more than 100 years ago. See Wikipedia:Copyright tags for more info.

Thanks - Tempshill 17:43, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to AIDS. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. -- Scientizzle 07:49, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to RuneScape, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. ĶĩřβȳŤįɱéØ 07:49, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Satanism, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Scientizzle 07:59, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Wikibattle.PNG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Wikibattle.PNG. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
