When the MRT network commenced operations in 1987, Station name as with all above-ground stations had no physical barriers between the platforms and tracks. Following numerous incidents of commuters falling on the tracks, the Land Transport Authority made the decision in 2008 to install half height platform screen doors for all above-ground stations in phases. Merging the table rows
Dear Seloloving,
As seen in the page, List of Singapore LRT stations, all 14 Bukit Panjang LRT line stations were opened on 6 November 1999, Sengkang, Compassvale, Rumbia, Bakau, Kangkar and Ranggung were opened on 18 January 2003, Thanggam, Fernvale, Layar, Tongkang and Renjong on the West Loop of Sengkang LRT line and Punggol, Cove, Meridian, Coral Edge, Riviera and Kadaloor were opened on 29 January 2005 while Nibong, Sumang and Soo Teck stations were opened on 29 June 2014. Can merge the table rows please? Thank you.

@ZKang123 Thank you for the effort. Some points to note:
1. It is the first MRT line to be built in Singapore.
2. To standardize the page, it should be decide if the station name should be followed by the word "station" in all cases.
3. The use of abbreviations should be standardized on when to use it and added into the infobox on the rewrite of all the pages, as our MRT Wikipedia pages have a very passionate following from the younger generation, who unfortunately don't always follow established standards.
4. Bishan tunnel flooding should not be just below the incident's subtitle, as it doesn't represent every incident listed.

Singapore's outline
Hey Seloloving, I'm in the midst of revamping the main Singapore article, and I was wondering if you'd be willing to update Singapore's outline in this map, bringing it in line with the outline found in your updated MRT maps, like this one. You're the original author, and you're also well-versed with Inkscape, so I thought I'd ask :)
If you do decide to go ahead with updating the outline, I thought you might want to consider:
1) Updating the outline of the rectangular part of the port directly adjacent to Pasir Panjang MRT station, as reclamation works were completed a while back, and the gap between the mainland and the reclaimed portion that is visible in the CRL map has since been filled in;
2) Filling in the northern portion of Tekong since empoldering works at Tekong Kechil are currently in full swing;
3) and including an inset with Pedra Branca to depict the full extent of Singapore's territory.

Hi, I will look into it. I stopped updating that map as it was removed from the page. I am however, unable to find the reclamation near Pasir Panjang, based on satellite imagery. Points 2 and 3 are noted, I will see what I can do when I have time. Speaking of which, the Singapore page is seriously a disaster now. Hey Seloloving, apologies for the delayed response. The main Singapore article is currently undergoing a rather heavy metamorphosis, spearheaded by me and a couple of other Wikipedians. I'd encourage you to check out the discussions in the talk page and join in - the more, the merrier. The previous lead was quite lacking in a lot of historical information and was fairly ahistorical and overly abrupt in parts, and while the new lead is longer, we have done our best to summarise and shorten it wherever possible. The infobox and the etymology section have also been put through a series of refinements; the rest of the article will be brought up to standard whenever the rest of us have time.
Where Pasir Panjang is concerned, I am referring to the coordinates 1.268769, 103.791200. This part of the port is depicted as unreclaimed land in your svg map outline, but it has since been fully reclaimed.

Is it possible to create a map of Singapore with the new outline based on the updated Master Plan, similar to c:File:Singapore MP2008. Based on Sipri as well as first hand information, the numbers for the Fokker F-50 ( Transport and ME-2 ) as well as the Helicopters (Super Pumas, Cougars and Chinook 47SD ) are not accurate. Hello @Bringyouaway:, attempting to decipher your paragraph above is indicative that you still lack sufficient command in English to edit in a proficient manner. Nevertheless, I do not want you banned at all - it's not my desire.
It's entirely correct to say "Example GRC is led by Person 1, and Person 2." It's wrong to say "Example GRC leads", because you are implying that the GRC, a non-living entity, is leading the person instead. The word "led" is the past tense of "lead", and it can be used in the plural sense unlike the word "lead".
In addition, as I have previously pointed out, "in present days" is an incoherent sentence structure. It should be "in the present day, Example GRC is led by". In any case, the word "currently" should suffice for "in the present day".
For appointments, Wikipedia's policy is that it's sufficient to list the name alone. Nevertheless, should it should be necessary to list an appointment, it should have direct bearing on the page. For example, Queen Elizabeth's full title is "Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of her other realms and territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith". She's also the leader of the Church of England, but most pages refer to her only as "Queen Elizabeth", her highest rank. Adding all the appointments clutters up the content, when the page should be about the GRC and who leads it.
For Jurong GRC's page, you were specific in saying that Rahayu Mahzam assists Tharman as a head. However, for Marine Parade's page, you used the word "help". How are they helping Tan Chuan Jin? The paragraph also does not say Tan Chuan Jin is leading Marine Parade GRC as a head, so in what capacity are the two "helping"? While I could easily edit the page to amend the sentence and include the information, I am still concerned by the need to include all the appointments.
I am not trying to bully you or discourage you. I would like to take the opportunity to ping @Justanothersgwikieditor: as well, whom you have previously engaged with, to offer his input on how you can improve on your editing. Using Marsiling–Yew Tee Group Representation Constituency as an example, Bringyouaway's first edit is grammatically wrong. The GRC is led by Lawrence Wong and Zaqy Mohamad is correct as they (the 2 politicians) are leading the GRC. Inclusion of Zaqy Mohamad being a teammate is redundant as it is already explicitly said the GRC is a 4 member GRC and leading a GRC together implicitly meant they are working together in a certain extent in a team already. Bringyouaway, you are asserting that your edit is final and should not be changed anymore here in your edit summary. Please read WP:OWN and not assert ownership and final editorial control on the article.
For Marine Parade Group Representation Constituency, as per Seloloving's edit summary, we can say the GRC is helmed/led by a cabinet Minister, until explicitly written with sources, as per above, they are working as a team. It does not mean once a politician is a Cabinet Minister, his constituency work is covered by the the rest of the GRC team. If his constituency work is covered by others, it need a source to confirm it. See Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency, During the time Lee was then-Senior Minister, Koo Tsai Kee substituted Lee for his Meet-the-People Sessions (MPS), this is a known fact but sadly unsourced updated with source. Per wikipedia's policy, unsourced statements can be removed at anytime or simply tagged with citation needed so Seloloving is correct in what he is doing.
Bringyouaway, while we appreciate all contributions, we note that Wikipedia:Competence is required. As it is now, I agree with Seloloving your (ie Bringyouaway) English proficiency is not there yet. I like to emphasize that we are not bullying/discouraging you, as if is now, we are more than happy if you contribute in other ways but we think you can avoid doing copyediting (ie fixing grammer etc) for the time being. Hi, I noticed you reverted a revision I did on Republic of Singapore Navy and I do agree with you, however, not all of them had their first link in history. Some had the first link in the same sentence or section then duplicated in that same section (or a subsection). I just wanted to bring that to your attention as you go through the article.
@Bakertheacre I understand, I will do the necessary changes manually. My main problem stems from the fact that removing the links from the section of the ships would make the article extremely unbalanced from the point of view of a reader. The person would have to scroll all the way backup to get a link to the class they are interested in, which doesn't make sense. Please do also look at the RSN talkpage on the removal of the flags from the infobox too, I have pinged you there and would like to extend the courtesy of you reverting the edit specifically to the infobox yourself if you concur. Task Force for editing Movies in Singapore
I had interest in movies but not much in terms on local films in Singapore. However, there's clearly lots of proofing and maintenance as what I did on the past, such as Money not Enough and I Not Stupid, but need to extend to other films so that it will match the standards to the other films in Americas and other films. Edits regarding radio stations

@TheGreatSG'rean: Looking at some articles of radiostations, we will need to find sources preferably unrelated to SPH for those radio stations, seeing as the admin's reason for moving them seem to be about a lack of notability beyond simply existing. If we could find out their histories, it would help in the matter. Until then I am afraid they don't really meet the notability guideline like the admin stated and while I disagree with the move, it's still correct unfortunately. @Seloloving: Looks like it. I tried to ask the editor who made the second revert after I reverted. The editor told me to fix the article, then I asked if that applies to other media articles, the editor just brushed it off saying it's "irrelevant". That got me very pissed. You may check out the conversation I had with the second admin. I think we should make sure the Mediacorp channels (TV, radio, print, etc) and SAFRA Radio articles have enough sources so that they will not be reverted. @TheGreatSG'rean: Unfortunately, I have had my fair share of brushes with overzealous admins at some points in time (with justlettersandnumbers too), and I do agree there will always be an inherent Western bias on Wikipedia, though I do not think it was a factor in this matter. You might also need to cool down and revert your post on the admin's page after their request for you to not post there again, as it could lead to you being pulled to ANI.
I suggest that the community work to rescue the pages which still exist and back them with the relevant sources, rescuing the others when the time permits. You should also save the logos of the removed radio stations as even after removing the deletion notices, the bot will just add them back in. I will see what else I can do if I have the time. Just to let you know, I understand that you reverted my edits on the current unconfirmed info that Volvo B9TL CDGEs are being laid up. However, as shown in the photo provided in my later edit (which sadly reverted your edit), several CDGEs are seen laid up inside AMK Depot. Besides, Instagram user @cngambassador (who is a bus captain with Bukit Batok Depot) also partially confirmed this fact. However, if you feel that this is still not factual information, do feel free to revert again. Pls do also let me know by replying as well.

Hello IP 112.199.214.106. Wikipedia only accepts sources from reliable printed or online media. You need to provide a source from either LTA, the transport operators, or Straits Times/CNA/Today. Unfortunately, the polices of Wikipedia prohibits original research (ie checking on the buses yourself, or interviewing a bus captain.) SGTrains, SGBuses and other fan sites are also not regarded as reliable sources by the standards of Wikipedia. You must list a source either from the official agencies or news media articles to include the sentence. Please do let me know if you have further questions and I will be happy to assist. Hello. @Chipmunkdavis: Several countries pages which use the previous format to list other names display a glitch where the flag is oversized in the mobile app. Here's a screenshot for example. I am guessing it has something to do with the flag parameter taking the width of the text to cause it to extend across the entire screen, but it's odd that the bug only occurs on the mobile app and not desktop/mobile browsers, making it extremely troublesome to test for. That would not be allowed too. You need to upload a photo you have taken yourself. Assume everything on the internet is copyrighted and cannot be used, if you are unable to tell.
In short, a public domain (PD) or creative commons (CC) work allows the material to be republished, edited freely (creating a derivative work), or used commercially (selling it). A photo by news agencies like Reuters, CNN, governments is copyrighted to these stakeholders, and cannot be used. Copyright means they do not allow you to use their images without you paying them a fee for it. If there's no better photo, there's no better photo, and we can only make do with the best photos available under PD or CC. For the latter, there are even different classes of CC, with Wikimedia Commons only allowing some. See Commons:Licensing#Well-known_licenses.

However, as a consensus on the talkpage has been established on the present photo previously, the best course of action would be to propose this photo on Talk:Lee Kuan Yew to gain support for this photo. Just because I did not remove it from the other pages does not mean it is right, and I will gladly remove all the information from the other pages when I have the time. Hi, I came across the Lee Kuan Yew article after watching a video about him and realized that it's currently being reconstructed by you. However, is it just me or is the article pretty long for readers to stay focused? Perhaps it would be beneficial if sub-sections such as "Political positions" or "legal suits" could be placed in a new article, and subsequently have everything hyperlinked back to the main article via a series template. I honestly doubt it was single-handedly only their idea to change the coat of arms imagery on that article, based upon what I'm seeing when comparing the image qualities. Wikipedia isn't all about aesthetics, of course. However looking at Chipmunkdavis's edits, he seems to have a personal feud with articles relating to Singapore, and arguably Singapore in general thanks to whatever IRL experience they had. Is there something wrong with the present one? It's in colour and depicts him at the time of his premeirship. No one seems to have a problem with it after two months or so. Biography pages of deceased persons usually depict the person in their youth. You can propose, but I deem it very unlikely you will find any traction. I would honestly suggest you drop the matter (WP:DROPTHESTICK) if after two months, no one else has found any problems with the existing one. You are still free to propose a change. But as I said, the standard for biography articles for deceased persons is to use an image of them for the position they are most famous for in the prime of their age (for LKY, it would be when he was prime minister). I do not think you will be able to overturn this wide prevailing consensus for a single article. In addition, in the last vote, I very kindly helped to set up the proposal for you even when I did not need to, and you failed to give your vote. Other editors have also noted that unless you can come up with a better photo, you should drop the matter and move on to editing other topics you are interested in.
Bold textWikipedia is not about winning, or losing. I myself have seen several of my proposals rejected, and I dropped the matter and moved on to other things. It may be disheartening, but there are always bigger fish to fry. There is a perfectly fine photo of him at the moment. I have already said I will not support any photo which is not taken between 1959 and 1980, latest 1989, and will oppose any older shots of him for the lead photograph. If you are unable to find a good public domain photo on Google, you will have to wait until government photos expire in 2030-2050.

Not wishing to take issue, I then changed the link to add a reference to support the pre-existing narrative "It is distributed free to students and alumni of the college and members of the Bible-Presbyterian churches" as well as the (added) "and also available online" with the url in the reference providing the link to the page where past and current issues of the "The Burning Bush" are located and can be downloaded for free (no advertising revenue involved as download is free).
Before Randykitty removed "The Burning Bush" on his second attempt, the link in the reference to the page on "The Burning Bush" had been there for well over 4 years. Since you have special rights and privileges as a Wikieditor of equal or maybe even higher ranking than Randykitty, you may access "The Burning Bush" as of 6 May 2021 (now removed) to verify this. Alternatively, you may also access Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society ("JETS") to see that the current references to the society and archived copies of its journals are also primary links. I'm not suggesting that the JETS references/links be removed since they provide only basic information and the the society is unlikely to be much enriched by the subscriptions to access archived copies of JETS journals. I believe that the rule of sticking strictly to primary sources should not be slavishly applied: WP:COMMON. More than 4 years ago, there was a primary source that was not only strictly prohibited by Wiki rules but was also inaccurate in "The Burning Bush", but Rankdykitty did not remove the source (there should be no reason for him not to then know the strict Wiki rules) and the text based on it until recently -- just before putting up his second proposal to have "The Burning Bush" deleted.
It looks like an old Carl Sandburg quote, “If the facts are against you, argue the law. If the law is against you, argue the facts. If the law and the facts are against you, pound the table and yell like hell,” applies to Wikieditors with special rights and privileges with the last part "pound the table and yell like hell" analogous to bending the rules or disregarding similar facts in other situations to the situation at hand meriting the same consideration. Previous link in reference in the "The Burning Bush" (before its move to merge with Far Eastern Bible College ("FEBC") was okay for more than 4 years. Rule is applied inconsistently as primary sources tolerated in Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society ("JETS"). There is no advertising for "The Burning Bush" -- since FEBC receives no revenue. JETS receives subscription for archived copies of journals. Thank you for shortening your message. In my view, it does not matter whether a rule is applied consistently as Wikipedia pages are not monitored 24/7 and one is obliged to remove anything which contravenes policy at any time. Just because it's free to access does not mean it's not advertising, as linking to it is essentially a promotion of its materials. I would be alright if you reinstate the citation without mentioning that it's available online as the link does back up that it's distributed for free to students and churches. If you are reverted by another user, it would be beyond me. It would also help if you read up more on WP:PRIMARY as a lot of your contributions are based on texts from the churches, especially points 4 and 5.
As for rank, administrators may have the right to warn and ban users accordingly, but their editing is held up to the same level of scrutiny as anyone else and they are not infallible. You may read more at Wikipedia:Administrators but the gist of it is they have no additional privileges in a content dispute and both sides must debate based on policy. I’m glad you don’t see WP:PRIMARY as preventing the use of primary sources. In many cases, it’s hard to obtain secondary sources, e.g. Anglican Diocese of Singapore had only primary sources for nearly 15 years until 16 May 2021. Primary sources are sometimes more reliable. Point 4 is the judgement of the Court of Appeal – I don’t think any source can be more reliable. Point 5 is Wiki article written based on the two judgments. Point 3 – a secondary source (add ‘s’ to ‘http’ to access news report) – is wrong on certain points, e.g., “…, the True Life church registered the college as a charity organisation without Life BPC's knowledge.” U may check the registration date of True Life as a society and the registration dates of True Life and Far Eastern Bible College as charities at the appropriate governmental websites to confirm.Watchman1234 (talk) 10:43, 18 July 2021 (UTC).

Hi Seloloving, I came across your user page and saw your work on MRT maps. I really liked this map that you made for showing not just the existing lines, but also the UC segments and planned segments. In the past, I've come across some Google My Maps creations from others trying to recreate the Singapore MRT network, some including the planned and UC lines, but none of them seemed particularly good. Dissident in Singapore - Rachel Zeng
Hi Seloloving, Rachel Zeng is a dissident, not merely a campaigner. She was the brain behind many of the following events and have been investigated by the police:
1. Handing flyers in front of Liat Towers in 2009 or 2010 regarding Yong Vui Kong;
2. For selling Once A Jolly Hangman in 2010 (she launched the book in Singapore);
3. For the event at Hong Lim Park, held in solidarity with pro-democracy activists in Singapore which she co-organised with Jolovan Wham;
4. For co-organising the event where Joshua Wong spoke over Skype (police also raided her home and seized 2 laptops);
5. For the organising and participating in a vigil for Prabagaran Srivijayan.
There were a few more but I cannot remember. She received stern warnings for the above. She is a very private person and did not scan and post the letters on social media but there are news articles about the above events.

Chillipadi, unfortunately, blog posts are not considered as reliable sources per Wikipedia guidelines on self-published sources. While searching Google to justify the entry for you, I had also came across the TOC and HRW links. TOC does not label her as a dissident, and neither does HRW, which calls her an "activist". You need sources like the one I have added, such as:
