Blogtalkradio[edit]

A tag has been placed on Blogtalkradio, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. RJASE1 Talk 03:16, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of EDrugSearch.com[edit]

A tag has been placed on EDrugSearch.com, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Pip (talk) 15:33, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

COI[edit]

Hi Sbaradell. It appears to me that you are likely to have a conflict of interest in the creation of some or all of your articles. To the extent that any of the articles you have created relate to your company or its clients, I would urge you to request their deletion and wait for others to contribute articles on these topics--even if you have not said anything untrue about them. If they are truly notable, it's just a matter of time before a bona fide other editor will create them. Bongomatic (talk) 22:54, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I stand by the quality and neutral point of view of the listing. I question how "someone" has posted a thin rationale on LegitScript's Wikipedia entry explaining how it is worthy of inclusion, while you challenge the author of the eDrugSearch.com entry and dismiss a long list of citations as somehow not newsworthy.

I can provide whatever information you require to clearly demonstrate the bias in supporting a LegitScript entry but not an eDrugSearch.com entry; what information would you like? Suggesting that a mere NABP endorsement qualifies a new Web site for a Wikipedia entry, while attempting to deny a leading online opponent of NABP's pro-Big Pharma politics its own entry, would be a clear case of bias -- whether intentional or not. I've been editing on Wikipedia since 2004 with the highest level of professionalism and respect for what Wikipedia does. Something about this challenge to a legitimate Wikipedia entry smells fishy to me.

AfD nomination of EDrugSearch.com[edit]

I have nominated EDrugSearch.com, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/EDrugSearch.com. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
